I don't think that, when you're doing it right, that this and believing there's a God out there somewhere have to be at odds with each other. Heck, I'm one of the most scientific of a lot of the guys at my religious meetings, but even the others are all perfectly fine with science discovering things, because it shows us that God really put a lot of fine tuning into this wonderful, terrible universe we inhabit.

When I'm asked if I believe there is a God, I like to think that, should he be real, he did exactly what you said. Made it so that everything was perfect. He was artisan of universes. Creating life, rather than capturing it on an easel, his art.

1. He's great.
2. He excelled at interweaving plots and making the absurd seem normal in Goats.
3. Now he's shying away from plot - he said as much in his various news posts. It's cool that he's doing a democracy thing, but it just seems wrong. I wish he'd let his tendency to tie things together do what it was meant to do.
4. I respect that he's trying to get money. I would like to have money too.
5. His religion jokes in-comic just come off kind of lame now.

I'm pretty religious but I am also a scientist (Biology= freaking awesome)
The two shouldn't have to be in a battle for eternity because of what they are.

I basically wanted to say that Carl Sagan is a pretty awesome guy. It took me too long to make that picture, and the discussion had moved on since then.

Also goats is mos def worth adding. My list of webcomics in order of coolness goes: MSPA, goats, everything else. Also, goats is not updating any more so that's cool.
