thats pretty close to regular genetics as you can get in a lab, short of the old fashioned way of children. For all intensive purposes the genes of John and Jade are exactly like they would (or may considering how many possibilities there are when genes mix) end up, thus making them siblings THUS meaning that they are as close related in gene pool as you can get short of twins

But in real life, meiosis happens separately for each offspring so there can be genetic overlap. Let me explain.

Sexual reproduction works like this:

Genes are stored in the DNA as pairs of alleles. Each allele contains a trait, and each person has two alleles for each possible trait. The alleles are separated and recombined with alleles from another member of the species to form an allele pair in the offspring, which determine how or her traits.

One parent (parent A) has these genes:
