I have a problem with this.

Well, as far as it goes, it doesn't seems like her environment is that hostile. Unless what we saw of her house wasn't the present.

Whoops, I remembered the original quote wrong. Roxy just said that the outside environment wasn't hospitable for a burial (hey - "a burial" - could that reference post-Scratch Rose being in a mausoleum or something like Jaspers was? That was completely unrelated to the rest of the post). She did choose to take the window route to the lab, though, even taking the opportunity to break in a new window. It seems as if she would prefer not to go outside. And right now I'm blaming Dersites.

The big deal was GCat getting the fenestrated plane to Dirk's house so there's a loop between Roxy's and Dirk's home. If we take it with the theory that Dirk will plug back the window.

Roxy did mention having multiple windows in the lab.

Well, they are nervous little guys. My guess is that they don't want to go messing around with stuff they don't understand. Why jump through broken windows when there are plenty of cats around?

Well, maybe, maybe not. I mean, the Kids were able to break the Fourth Wall, which is, in a way, a fenestrated plane. So, why not ?

I don't think it is the same. The space between fourth walls is the Hussieverse, and the walls are lined up like that only because Hussie set them up. The space between the windows seems to be the Void (as evidenced by the presence of Roxy's dreamself), and each window seems to be specifcally paired up with a corresponding window.

It'd suggest they're not going after Roxy, then. That might be because they are just after the cats, like you suggest. But it's evidence that supports theories that they came to Earth before the Reckoning, too, perhaps as a result of a BQ exiling. And I don't like that theory because it isn't more evidence for Roxy being in the future! But that's not important right now.

No, it's okay! If it makes you feel any better I wouldn't even have noticed the window, let alone that she couldn't get it to work, if it hadn't been for months and months of reading theories on this forum. These are pretty small details.
