For me, it's mostly the shape of Terezi's glasses mimicked somewhat in the shape of the goggles. Also maybe a bit of this new troll's demeanor, especially the way she seems to handle her staff.

edit: though in my opinion, the Terezi "influence", if it exists at all, is very minor.

You know, if it weren't for that lousy Sufferer's Irons necklace around Nerdfang's neck, I'd be perfectly happy believing the pre-Scratch trolls thing and this would be a lot easier.

Although... the pre-Scratch trolls didn't save themselves, now that I think about it. So it would be kinda hard to have deadselves what with being non-existent and all. But who ever knows what the rules are.

I don't know. I'm just going to assume these are the post-Scratch Ancestors we originally heard about, but for some reason when they died, their deadselves were just... teenagers. And I'm going to choose not to care why until it's explained!!
