>Your GM stops the game very quickly to show you something. He had seen a recent interest in other players wanting to make Kobolds of their very own. So he pulls out a parchment with some drawings for you to look over.
GM: Hey can you check this out and let me know what you think before we continue the game?
Firstly, there will probably be some people that want to make a kobold character for a game, so we'll need a stat sheet for a basic kobold.
Alright.
Gender. Is there any statistical difference between males and females?
Color. Ok, so each color offers a boost as well as some other smaller perks. How big of a boost are we talking? 2 points?
Green. I don't think I need to go into this one.
Coal. Dark scales, harder to see in the dark. So, makes spot checks against this character harder. By how much?
Tan. Resists disease. By how much? Above average senses. So, easier to perform checks that require the 5 senses, or what?
Blue. Breathe underwater. Speaks for itself. Resists Magic. How big is this bonus?
Red. More strength. +Str. Simple. Harder Scales. Does this do anything?
White. Born with magic. How does this one work?
Ok, done with color, onto traits.
Sleek tailed. Seems pretty simple. Makes a Kobold fast. What exactly are the bonuses provided by this stat though?
Constrictor tail. Once again, pretty simple. A longer tail that can be used as an extra limb, within obvious limits. Results in a slower (How much slower?) and stronger (How much stronger?)
Scaled Underbelly. Exceptionally rare. ok. Kobolds with this trait are part dragon. This makes them more awesome. It also holds them to a higher social standard (among kobolds only?) Not really sure what that means, but the treatment recieved for being part dragon can be... problematic at times. Other than that, what other bonuses does it provide, if any?
Spikes. Not really sure how this is useful. It's cool looking, but what do they do?
Fins&webbing. Faster under water. Cool. How much faster?
Scaletaint: Ok, how does this work? Like, I have no idea if this does something, or is just there for spicing up a character.
Enlarged claws: Good for digging. Very good it seems. Is there any other bonuses or penalties though?
Vermin Maw. I don't need to go into this one.
Tufts. Once again, what is this used for? Does it provide any bonuses or penalties or what?
Yes, having these form of creation is useful for others to create what is required, but i am making the assumption that each trait that doesn't say that it has any stat bonuses just doesn't have any bonuses. If there are any special stat bonuses to any of the traits it might be best to state whether they do to not to avoid any confusion amongst the group.
The reference sheet inspired me to convert my (mostly unused) D&D Kobold to Everignot style :P
Backstory nonsense:
Sakkyt was hatched and raised in the Kobold mining-city of Svernhurthi, situated beneath the tower dungeon of the brass dragon Caphipherum. Caphi' runs the dungeon as a tourist trap for adventurers, to distract attention from the bustling city hiding below (and to make some gold on the side). A great spine of an eleveator shaft spans both the tower and city, and the railed interior of the tower allow entire dungeon levels to ratchet up and down at will, like cheese wheels on a spike. Pity the adventurer who chooses the "All Stations" dungeon tour.
Like many Kobolds, Sakkyt was fascinated at a young age by all things that turn, slide, spring, twist, snap, and make a loud crunch at the end. Much of his childhood was spent in amateur trapsmithing contests with other young kobolds. His favourite book was the tales of the cunning Kobolds of Tucker. Magical artifacts ("highly advanced traps") equally caught his curiosity. Due to his propensity to attempt to combine two or more of any object into a mechanism, his first (legitimate) purchase of value was a Handy Haversack with which to fuel his packrat desires. Against the advice of friends, family, and the patron dragon, Sakkyt decided to pack his Haversack and adventure out into the world beyond Caphipherum's domain. His chosen class of Rogue happened by natural osmosis.
His first steal was a spiked collar, pilfered from around the neck of a particularly unlucky dark elf. He retooled it with a new band to fit his tail, and later replaced the spikes with sharper spikes. It's his lucky spike thingy.
P.S. I'm all ears for suggestions for what I should name the dragon's dungeon tower. I gots nothin'...
And a bonus, wherein I showed the reference sheet to a friend of mine and got him to draw a Kobold:
He chose the Constrictor Tailed and Enlarged Claws traits, for adventuring in caves and whatnot. Can you guess what his favourite critter to draw is? :B
WOOOOOO KOBOLDS! :V

The background is transparent, so when I try to copy it into Paint or Photoshop it makes it the same color as the outline of each kobold. How would one fix this?
My signiture was last updated Apr. 28, 2013; check if you missed something....

Save it as a file first, then open it in photoshop
I haven't forgotten about Everignot, I have written the script for the next update, due to finical and living issues I was unable to even touch the project. But after afew adjustments I have a strong bit of faith the adventure will continue. Sorry for the ungodly long pause.

You've got your Johnvee and evolved him into Joltijohn and you're like well shit fuck this ground gym leader can't beat him. Gotta restart
But you wanna keep Joltijohn. So you trade Joltijohn to another game session.
You can now restart the old game. You still have Johnvee there to pick up again. He's the same but now he's different. He can live another life that's different from the original like turn him into Flarejohn.
You can also bring your old Joltijohn into your game too. You now how 2 Johns.
