So it seems pretty unlikely at this point that Slick's ever going to re-enter the story proper, since it would mean Andrew breaking his word about the Yellow Yard being the only time he interferes directly with the story.

Hmm.. the idea of the black scotty dog soup being more healthful would probably be about right, fit with the Dersite Prospit dichotomy of light and dark anyways.
