[DUEL] Elitepastafa vs. ~ATH

You are The Geomancer. Your research has led you to The Stone Field, a prime place for your research into earth magic. You've also learned that there are some valuable minerals here. It is unlikely that you will be the only person trying to utilize this place. Of course, you are prepared to fight off anybody who would take this land from you.


This duel is open for the first person to make their image and post it. no longer open.

Rules:
1) Keep the image as a .png. Please, we don't need any fuzziness.
2) Try to keep it the same size, unless we both think it needs to be bigger or smaller.
3) For the love of god, don't godmod.
4) Have fun!

A blob congeals out of a narrow crack in the ground, violently bubbling and fizzing. Some know this horrifying beast as Mununga, the portal to the eldritch throes. Lovecraftian gods pop in and out of the blob, clambering for control. It is hungry. And it will receive its meal.

First duel, let me know if I'm doing anything wrong.

first duel for me too. I just suggest you move your rift to the far right of the battlefield, so we have a bit of room. You may also want to shrink it to about half its size, as right now it takes up a third of the battlefield. Either that or we need to expand the battlefield, which I don't really wanna do since it'll stretch the forums

Okay, I moved it to the far right, and redrew it. But, uhh, I didn't really want to make it smaller. The size is a factor, since it's supposed to be a horrifying beast. Don't worry, it's certainly not overpowered, and it can't even move. Think of it as a boss battle or something.

If the size is still a problem, then I guess I can make it smaller.

"Mother of god..."

The Geomancer begins forming a minor rift to the Plane of Earth. It will be done in one turn.

With one of its gruesome maws, Mununga summons an Eldritch Spawn. It will charge forward in two turns.

The Geomancer finishes summoning the minor rift, and a boulderling climbs forth. The rift closes.

New Creatures:
Boulderling: A minor summoned creature of the Elemental subtype. It has:
Health: 3
Defense: 3
Attack: 1
Move Speed: 1

Mununga is wary of what the new creature could do. It takes precautionary actions and shifts its blobby mass forwards, making a Unappealing Wall of Blobbitude. It will fully solidify in 2 turns!

The Eldritch Spawn will charge in 1 Turn.

Its stats are as follows:
Health: 2
Defense: 1
Attack: 4
Move Speed: 2

You should make it take time to move across the screen, so ElitePasta can block it if he wants to. And I don't think it's really in keeping with your character's theme.

I will have to say that seems a bit overpowered. After all, if, with a 0 turn cast time, you can make me take 1 extra turn on all actions from now on, then what's to keep you from dong it next turn, and the turn after that? In the space of three turns, you made it take me 4 turns to summon even a weak minion.

The boulderling moves forward.

The Eldritch Spawn charges forward! It automatically sets its target on the closest moving target.

One of the tentacle-mouths starts drooling purple sludge. What could it be doing? Whatever it is, it'll be ready in four turns.

The Unappealing Wall of Blobbitude will be completed in one turn.

The Geomancer continues summoning. It will be done in three turns.

The boulderling roots itself. It is now a rooted boulderling. As such, it can no longer move, and gains a +2 to defense.

Mununga continues vomiting up that blob thing. It appears to be Yet Another Blob of Disgustipation. (stats unknown) It will be finished in three turns.

The Eldritch Spawn continues charging!

The Unappealing Wall of Blobbitude is now completed! Mununga gains +2 DEF!
