Hello, I am just popping in here to tell you i am going to plan another Nation game..A sort of prequel to these games, beginning in a sort of tribal setting which will gradually be developed into the standard setting we use now.

So yeah! Another nation game! With some interesting tweaks! Is it okay if i shamelessly advertise here and pop a link when i have the details worked out and a thread up?

Bramzter while I fully approve of your project and endevours, I would advise holding off until at least till the start of June. It is finals season for alot of people. And since citystates is basically demonsul's thing try renaming it something different (like how I renamed my city states derivatives Heirs of perdition and Gods guts and glory respectively, so as to differentiate from Demonsul's games and emphasising demonsul as the trope codifier for the nations games as they currently are on MSPAFA forum games)

Besides it's kinda silly to name a tribal game "City States." Tribes don't operate as city states. Well, at least, I didn't think they did.

...and Citystates II is still running, so making a Citystates III is ridiculous. And I hope it isn't a prequel to either CS2's or CS1's setting, considering most players actually would enjoy writing their own history. Just make it in a different universe, with a different name. >_>

Skadgard deplores the use of unprovoked aggression against their ally Vaestgard. As such, we are joining the defense of Vaestgard in the war against Allerzeit, and we call upon all good and pious rulers to do the same.

To his Majesty King Rolf XIV,

While the people of Verr certainly do understand your grievance with Allerzeit, we regret to inform you that we are more than a bit pre-occupied fighting our own upstart conquerors. As such, we can only promise you the assistance and concern your nation rendered to ours when we suffered under the tyrannical yoke of the Old Kingdom. The people of Allerzeit no doubt suffered greatly underneath the Old Kingdom's reign, but I'm certain they understand why you turned a blind eye to the staggering crimes against humanity the Old Kingdom perpetuated against them. Perhaps if you explain why, they'll apologize for their actions against your valued ally (whom you did nothing to assist during their invasion, curious, as that would have been the best time to do so, but I'm sure you have your reasons) and I am certain they will come to their senses. My advice to you is to lay down your arms and embrace them as the peaceful, understanding folk they are.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have skirt-wearing fascists to fight.

Why, he even signed the work, making it a priceless keepsake for the decades to come.


(The box attached seems crudely made, though someone clearly put a lot of effort into it. The name, carved into the bottom, is hard to make out, but seems to read "F. DANTE". Fortunately, the cigars seem to be of highest quality.)
