My chumhandle is ancientUntied, feel free to add me, but please pm me about it before doing so.
I have a small TF2 adventure, Indominance, rarely updated but I got plans for it
Your chumhandle is tracedSparks and you have no idea why you even have a chumhandle, as you have no chums who use Pesterchum.
You also have a text adventure that is always open to commands, LandLost.

>Don't try to put the flask on the keyring, it can't hold foodstuffs...or whatever it was that Karis said.
>Whistle a merry tune on the way through the woods! You only get a short period as an Arrival in which you've an excuse to do any silly thing at all, after all.
Got Portal 2? Come check out my maps, please!
Active Adventures (awaiting suggestions):
PersonS-like Persona, but not | An Aranor Adventure-high fantasy and adventure | Odd One Out-3 best friends, a kidnapped girl, an evil king, and elves | Beasts-a tale of survival | The Longest Flashback-fantasy noir, or something like that | GUIH-raising a dragon is harder than it sounds. | MageBound-Fantasy+"Stuck" | Creation-wherein the readers are the mind of a universe's omnipotent god | The College of Magic-pretty much what it says on the tin
Oh hey, it's the voice you think you recognise as consistently the craziest. You don't think that recognising the crazy voices in your head as a good thing.
You instead put the small metal flask into your other pocket, where it is still safe and immediately retrievable.
You do so, although you aren't going far, and you still have to go back to get your money. Still, first steps. You head around the outskirts of the forest rather than entering directly in, Karis saying that there's a small path leading to the house about five to ten minutes away.
You decide to do a whistle a Merry Tune, of something that you can't remember, but can't seem to forget the tune from and don't think you ever will, despite the amnesia. This goes on for a minute until Karis reacts.
"Stop that."
"It's a Merry Tune!"
"I'm going to punch you."
So much for that. You're about halfway there. Anything you want to do before you arrive?

>Gene: Remember to experiment with the Flask being filled with various things after usage, and what happens if you DO try to attach it.
Before we arrive:
>Mysterious Character: Ambush!
You make a mental note to do so, but definitely not until you've used whatever that stuff is in it. You also think that you might want to get a second keyring before finding out what happens. You don't want to lose a perfectly good Inventory Ring just because you're screwing around.
You're still only halfway there. What will you do now?

(PS. Congrats on 200th post!)
>?: Be Lee Baron to stop being the unnamed character.
>Gene: Stop being '?' being Lee Baron. Go to that house and kill that Manikin!
(Wait now I'm confused what exactly happened where did the posts go?)

((Technical difficulties on the post that Jetroid is replying to, which basically just said "You are an unnamed person". It got deleted, and we here at LandLost apologise for the technical difficulties. The man responsible has been fired.))
You are now Lee Baron. And it is your time to shine. Your entire life has been leading up to this moment. Time to step forward and
You are now no longer Lee Baron, and are in fact Gene, who has just reached the house.
The house is a small log hut, and it's only down a small and narrow path into the forest. Your best guess is that he just goes there for some privacy or something. It doesn't really matter, the important thing is that you're here, and ready to go kill whatever the hell's in there.
Karis addresses you as you walk towards the door.
"Right, time to see if you suck at fighting or not."
"Thanks for the vote of confidence."
"You'll be fine. And if things go to hell for whatever reason, I'll come in and back you up. This thing'll just charge at you with whatever pointy object it's found, so you should be alright. Just don't get hit and you'll be fine."
As you walk up to the door, you notice a small rack with a couple of woodcutting axes on it. They don't look like they've been used for a while, but you're more interested in the fact that there's a gap between them in the middle. That either means the guy is terrible at cataloging his axes, or the thing is armed. Great. Karis waits outside as you pull out your shield, holding it up as you head inside, the place only being a one room place. Inside is a small fireplace, a table, a bed, and a oh hey it's that thing.
Well, the description Kells gave you seems pretty accurate. It's human sized and has this rough, leathery grey skin, with all of its limbs not quite at their right sizes. It's naked, but it's also lacking any equipment down there, which makes you feel slightly better. It's really like if someone drew a really crappy outline of a human and then gave it life. And speaking of it, it seems to have noticed you, and it's carrying a hatchet in its longer arm. Should its neck be turning at that angle? What was he even doing in here anyway? He was just kind of pacing back and forth. Oh, and it's also running at you. Shambling was definitely the right word to use for this thing, and you're surprised he hasn't fallen over yet, what with the mismatching legs.
The fact that you're analyzing it rather than acting it may have something to do with the fact that holy shit this thing's about to try to murder you with that axe oh crap what the hell is that rasping noise it's making how is it seeing you without any eyes
You've got about two seconds to react. Shall you engage it plainly, or is there something you'd like to try on it? Also, retreat isn't an option here, soldier.

Also, re-read my name.
Jerk.

You jump at it and plunge the pointed bottom of your shield into its chest, managing to penetrate the skin for 15% damage, and getting some weird dark red blood on your shield. Unfortunately, the rough skin seems to be a bit tougher than regular skin, so you don't penetrate far, and it seems to ignore the pain, pulling back for a swing at you. You kick it back, removing it from your shield and sending it tumbling over for 4% damage, which it quickly pulls itself up from, ready to charge back at you. It also may or may not be pissed. You can't tell, due to the whole lack of a face thing, and its rasping has remained pretty much the same.
He's winding back up for another go at you. What will you do, attack normally, or try something more specific?

>Peter Parker: Continue ignoring Jetroid.
>Gene: Raise shield towards the sky. Do a Goron Roll.
You are now Peter Parker, and you have no idea who this Jetroid is. You don't know why you should care either.
You are now Gene again. You proceed to execute a Goron Roll. This predictably does nothing except make you look extremely silly. You manage to get back up in time to block a hatchet strike from the Manikin and bash him with your shield for 5% damage, knocking him back a step. Normally you would be able to hit harder, but you were reeling from the hit and the fact that you were off balance from the rolling.
What now?

>Get it to hit your shield, stand firm when it does so, and immediately counter by swiping at its weapon arm, attempting a disarm-counter.
>If you manage to disarm it, or at least put it off balance, swing the hatchet at its neck. Maybe hitting it where humans are weak will grant a damage-percent bonus.
>Never make the first move; this opponent is consistently violent and you've chosen a defensive primary weapon.

You file this as your strategy for the fight, and react accordingly.
You hold still and let it swing at you, blocking its wild blow with your shield, and quickly bash its weapon arm with your shield, causing 3% damage and disarming it, sending its hatchet scattering across the floor.
You draw your hatchet, and aim for the neck. You figure that if you cut off the head, the body will die. You hit the neck, and deal a staggering 60% damage! His neck is cracked all the way until his head is facing left and his neck is bleeding profusely, but his performance doesn't seem to be slowing down, since pain doesn't seem to be an issue for him. You recall Karis talking about how people would keep operating at full capacity until they're almost dead. He looks like he's slowing down though, since he's struggling to move. Well, better keep swinging. At least you will once he's dragged himself off the ground, which the blow knocked him onto.
BATTLE STATISTICS:
GENE: HP 100%
MANIKIN: HP 18%
