Landing 3 shots in a row on a slow target while moving at the speed of fat yourself isn't doing "illogically well"
On the subject of custom maps, weren't we planning to test out koth_megaman? I seem to remember it being suggested at some point, and i'd love to see it on the rotation. Fun map, and I think there's even a vsh version floating around somewhere.

The lack of quote nesting makes it pretty easy to misinterpret the context and read that as a jab at Bec's subjective opinion and how for some reason it should not be applied to the running of the server, rather than of Red's

also while I'll respect Bec's decision if he DOES add that map, the same way I'd respect it if he added Cow, expect me to disconnect every time either shows up.

I was just thinking about that.
The reason why it's so easy to lock down turbine mid is because the only way to get into it is because you can't get a line of sight into most of mid without stepping out into it.
This is the map is composed of various choke points, the only point on the map that isn't a choke being mid, of course.
As you can see by this diagram
There are doors, stairs, walls, and blind corners that all contribute to making mid an easy point to defend.
The overious solution to this is making minor adjustments in the composition of the map, in such a way that would allow a wider line of sight, and more area connecting to mid.
