Again, I don't care about the style, whether it's got sprites or not, or whether it's even in color. If you need references for how the characters actually look PM me beforehand.

Right, so uh, this is a bit of an experiment, I'll be honest. The only reason it's text is because I can't draw for crap and also because I've got other projects that require more attention. But hey, we'll see how far this goes. It may just take a while to update sometimes. XP

Also, keep in mind: Relationships are not necessarily the same as in Homestuck. Characters who should be dead may still be alive, and not just because I can't possibly predict how Homestuck will end! People who used to be best friends may not have much contact with each other anymore. People may have ended up with people they probably shouldn't have. (yes, my "favorite pairing" may in fact count) These are the joys of an AU, and "How This Split Off From The Main Timeline" is a major theme

For the record, the story is NOT completely planned out. There are some notes I plan on hitting, and some things about the New Universe I've fleshed out in my head already, but for the most part the story is going to be very malleable for quite a while.

After a good night's rest, you attempt to load up AdultStuck (the incredibly bizarre expansion pack), hoping that that damn patch has finally loaded. It looks like you've still got a minute or two, so in the meantime, you decide to maybe think a little about events, maybe come up to speed on things a bit, maybe do a little recap.

When we last left our ragtag bunch of violent and crazy eleven year old/five sweep olds, Kitty a.k.a. feralAncient a.k.a. Bastet Maryam Sekhmet a.k.a. Kanaya's adopted "daughter" a.k.a. the Thief Of Heart a.k.a. designated kid protagonist had - during an innocent diplomatic trip to Carapace Town with John, Karkat, Dave, and Sollux and children Kitty's age - found herself drafted by the planet's First Guardian and brothel madame' LITTLE PHOEBE to protect two refuge' clowns and fight off the MOST FEARED CLOWN THIS SIDE OF GAMZEE, enjoyableEVENING. She was forced to go out and gather all of the other children on the trip, which inadvertently led to sneaking into the MIDNIGHT CASINO during a VIOLENT SHOOTOUT in an attempt to rescue a kidnapped SOLLUX.

Unfortunately, Kitty failed to rescue Sollux, but she DID manage to save BONE, a very cheerful and friendly and also distressingly STRONG TRIBAL, also known as a FURRY, a race of fur covered mammalian humanoids of which very little is known but who seem to be BADASSES FOR SOME REASON.

As SOLLUX and a fellow captive SKYDWELLER (a strange and seemingly violent bird race perpetually attacking flintlockENTHUSIAST for unintentional warcrimes) PROFESSOR remain UNRESCUED, adults JOHN EGBERT, KARKAT VANTAS, DAVE STRIDER, PROBLEM SHERIFF, ACE DEPUTY, AND THE ARMED RANGER prepare for an ASSAULT on the MIDNIGHT CASINO to rescue the POOR BASTARDS. Also, John has managed to land himself a hate date with the First Guardian, despite humans being shitty at BLACKROM, mostly because HE WOULD HAVE FELT BAD OTHERWISE. THIS CAN ONLY END WELL.

oceanRISING a.k.a. ANILIN IANTHE a.k.a. THE FISHY PRINCESS a.k.a. THE WITCH OF HOPE was told by an as yet unknown hacker clown (illustratedVIOLENCE) about draconicMACHINE'S role in "TRICKING" Anilin into blowing her crush Kitty's arm off during a teenage hormones instigated violent rage. She has PLANS to drag draconicMACHINE into a WAND/GUN DUEL during the NEXT FLARP, which as it turns out will happen THE VERY NEXT DAY. She may ALSO BE POSSESSED by PANDORA, one of the DARK GODS OF THE FURTHEST RING, who also seems to be WEIRDLY HUMAN and REALLY BAD AT HER JOB. Pandora seems to be preparing the world to fend off GAIA, an even more ancient and corrupted DARK GOD who used to serve as the ANTITHESIS to LORD ENGLISH, who is half dead and recuperating somewhere on GALLIFREY. Pandora hopes to destroy them both, but so far HAS FAILED.

draconicMACHINE a.k.a. DIEM a.k.a. THE SEER OF DOOM a.k.a. DIAMOND DROOG'S ADOPTED SON a.k.a. ARADIA'S ADOPTED SON KIDNAPPED FROM HER ALONG WITH dimensionalRIP AT A VERY YOUNG AGE reluctantly plans to JOIN THE FLARP for the first time in a long time, having spent most of his time in a UNDERGROUND HIVE hiding from the world and INSULTING PEOPLE. He's been DRAGGED OUT FIGURATIVELY by his OLD FRIENDS and GANG MEMBERS, most especially the aformentioned dimensionalRip, with whom he has a mutual sort of kind of maybe crush (on his part: It is more of a LOVVVVVVVVE ME NOWWWWWWWW crush on her part). Making things somewhat more complicated is that a CLONE OF HIS MOTHER from an ALTERNATE CITY (PERHAPS EVEN AN ALTERNATE TIMELINE) also appears to have SOME SORT OF SHIPPING TEASE with him. Sadly the aforementioned clone is PRESENTLY BEING HORRIBLY ABUSED by DM'S ROBOTIC COUNTERPART, DIA for no clear reason other than DIA HATES DIEM. This is not even getting into DR's maybe-blackrom with ruthlessDARWINIST, who according to a DREAM BUBBLE might have SOME SORT OF THING for him AS WELL.

VRISKA EGBERT-SERKET and ARADIA MEGIDO (along with the GHOST OF FEFERI PEIXES) meanwhile are PREPARING TO DEFEND THE CORPSE OF TAVROS from UNKNOWN FORCES who appear to be determined to DESTROY the ghosts of the DEAD TROLLS. Tavros and Feferi are the last ones left.



Ah, the patch has finally loaded and the game is ready. Guess it's time to ENTER.
