The group debates vigorously for some time, a debate marred by the mysterious death of one of their members, and complicated by the presence of the form-changing crystals. As night drew near, however, the fight seemed to go out of one of them, and it was agreed that they'd take that one and shove them through the Nexus. In the doing, you discovered a few things about their identity!

Garuru was SHEDINJA, the bug-ghost pokemon. It is rumored that peering into the crack in the back of his shell would steal your soul! That didn't seem to happen to any of you, but it almost looked like he could have hidden a body there, how odd.

After you shove him through the Nexus, you hear a clear feminine voice declaring "Good going! That was indeed a minion of the multidimensional entity! Unfortunately, it looks like there's still more to find, so we can't lower the seals yet."

It's getting late, though, so the group all heads to various rooms of the inn.

Garuru was a MAFIA JANITOR, who could conceal the body of any nightkill, but after the first time he used his power, any subsequent usages would reveal the previously-hidden body.

It is now NIGHT.
Soundly Paranoid and A Killer Cuppa Tea are animals.

Night ends at 9 PM Pacific, FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH. (this is about 48 hours.)

At night, you can secretly USE or secretly GIVE crystals - any number! (remember, you started with 5.)

As after this night your supply of crystals is unknown to others, you may request in your QT that a day-usage of crystals will fail or only use part of your stash.

As you assemble in the morning, you discover that several of you were turned into animals in the night. As you do a count, though, you also find out that two of you are MISSING. After a quick pantomime to reveal which of the missing individuals are animals and which are just missing, you head to the rooms of the missing.

As you get to KIEROS'S room, you find scorch marks! But there's no trace of Kieros to be found, nor of Kieros's personal possessions.

Then you go to A Killer Cuppa Tea's room, and find the corpse of a ZEBRA PEGASUS. Rummaging through his possessions, you find notes and plans - when he was human, he was clearly a MASTER PLANNER - indeed, he was ubcalculatefly. Unfortunately, it looks like his plotting has come to an end!

Disenheartened - for his plans made it clear he was trying to find out who that threat was - you regroup in the inn's lobby, ready to start your day.

Kieros has vanished!
A Killer Cuppa Tea was ubcalculatefly planning eveove, with INTRICATE PLONS which had nailed, and had fow to spirle away so that neverfind them until rime, and thus a TOWN VANISHER - he could vanish one person each night, which would save them from kills that night, but leave them unable to participate, act, or be targetted for the next day and night. (He also had a SEVERE HANGOVER)

You have till 9 PM Pacific on THURSDAY, 4/19! Get lynchin'!

Allrighty. Glad we got a lynch on scum yesterday, and it looks like acio got a step in the right direction on his wincon, one way or another.

Its a shame yesterday ended before I could chat more but ah well. Here we are now.

Gotta be honest, after rereading inoxfy's stuff from yesterday, I was NOT happy with what I'd seen. In fact, while I probably would have voted to lynch ath due to not having time for anything else, but otherwise I'd have changed my vote to lynch him. In fact, I'm going to go ahead and do that now. lynch inoxfy.

Seriously, I can wall this if people want, but pretty much every post inox made left me with a bad feeling about him. Literally the only thing that he said that seemed like it COULD have been protown was to mention the possibility that scum might have an ear in animalchat. Fair enough point, but you also kinda went off on me for being scummy for a similar "what if" scenario (my saying that one of the 5 non-transformables might be the "multidimensional being" from the d1 start fluff).

Also, I finally managed to nail down at least part of what was bugging me about Red. Hey buddy, check out posts #177 and #326 in here and tell me if you notice anything odd.

And sotek, good to know you're having way too much fun using weirdness from previous games. "Oh you didn't mean to use your janitor I'll bring his corpse back the next night and let you reuse it" becomes "well we'll just have the janitor work that way on purpose this time."
