    Let me tell you a story...


    I'm sure you're familiar with this story, the story of the heroes who changed our universe forever. It all begins with the eight legendary heroes; The daring, exuberant WARRIOR, the thoughtful, kind ALCHEMIST, the sober, lofty PILGRIM, the wilful, unyielding RANGER, the shrewd, cunning SAGE, the dashing, elegant SORCEROR, the bold, true PALADIN and the canny, perspicacious ROGUE...

    HEROBREAK



    Well well, looks like the summoning is about to begin. No doubt some gnarled old wizard stands in this circle, ready to greet our hero, ripped suddenly from their home dimension to save us all.


    There he is. Alcanor the Speaker of Bright Dawns, a high ranking member of the order of the eye. He has summoned them. This hero will cause more trouble than poor Alcanor can imagine. Poor old fool has no idea. So, who is this troublesome hero? Which of the eight will reveal themselves when the dust clears?

    Ah, the Sage. Needle-sharp, dry as a desert and a champion of rationale and logic. But right now she's uncharacteristically confused. Nothing about how she got here makes sense, and even who she is and the details of her past feel like a hazy blur. She exhales for a moment as her mind grasps for her name. Of course, her name is...

    HER NAME IS...


    Of course, it's MINERVA DAWSON, the SAGE, but her friends always called her Mina for short. She recalls that she was named for the Roman goddess of wisdom, and also that she shares this name with a character from a series of books about a boy Wizard. This reminds her that she has a passion for literature and has been fond of books ever since she was very young. Details of her personal life are not forthcoming; still her place of birth, her family and her profession elude her, yet strangely she has no trouble recalling her interests. She enjoys socialising with friends, even though right now she doesn't remember any of those friends, and has been known to dabble in matchmaking. She appreciates all kinds of music and plays piano to a pretty high standard. She also considers popular crime thriller stories a guilty pleasure.

    Oh that Wizard guy is going to talk...
