THE WARRIOR'S NAME IS


JOE SMITH SUMISU JOU. He insists on spelling his name JOU and writing it with the kanji for sincerity, which one might think makes his name Makoto, but whatever, let's just say his name is JOE. He is a man of burning passions, and these passions specifically include animated films and series, sequential art and martial arts hailing from a certain country in the world he comes from known as 'Japan' or 'Nihon'. He models himself on the exuberant heroes that feature in his favourite fiction, and dedicates himself to fighting for nebulous moral concepts. While many have called him 'obnoxious', few could deny his good intentions or dedication to doing good.

JOE: Hora, don't give up just yet. It's only midday!
MINA: ...It's midday where you are?
JOE: ...Yeah?
MINA: Oh. That's not a good sign. Unless this place runs on some weird fantasy rules, we may be a lot further away from each other than I had anticipated. Let me see if Bunny here can get me more info.
