On this Alternia, the trolls' INTERGALATIC CONQUEST has taken a backseat to CONQUERING THEIR OWN RACIST-AS-FUCK SPECIES. Countless stupid wars spread out over tens of sweeps have wittled down most of the troll population to this continent, known to most as TROLL CANADA and to foreigners as THAT ONE PLACE I CAN'T FIND ON MY MAP. Not that there are any foreigners. (because they're dead)

TROLL CANADA is divided into seven six territories, wait what? You see a seventh one in the middle there? Just ignore it; That's one's pretty much SLAVE COUNTRY in most trolls' eyes. Anyway, six territories, six tribes, six different varieties of troll to populate them, six different rulers, yadda yadda SIX. Of these six, two in particular maintain the most resources, land, and overall heaviest presence over the island: The LEIJON and PEIXES tribes.

For a few decades since most of the planet's population was wiped clean, the only thing that has kept every troll from ripping eachother's throats out was a simple treaty, agreed to by the ancestors of the current rulers and upheld ever since. Today, someone breaks that treaty.

Before I ever read Homestuck, or even Problem Sleuth, my knowledge of HS was limited to only a few Youtube videos. The first time I saw Nepeta was the second time I saw anything HS related, and the first time I've ever seen a troll character. In this case, I was listening to THIS MUSIC (which you may now consider this Nepeta's theme song) while looking at THIS PANEL.

My fucked up imagination instantly assumed that this character was a badass mutant catgirl thing who absolutely hates to be referred to as "cute" due to the usual kawaii-desu example. If there was a Troll Japan, she'd hate that too.

But whoops, turns out the real Nepeta actually was just a cutesy catgirl thing. My bad. ^^;

I was a little concerned with the idea (I'll admit, seeing my two favorite characters go to war with one another is pretty much never a good thing to see) but your idea of taking the first impressions of characters and making that come to life is AWESOME!
