    Enter Kitten Full of Blood with a Varla Stone tied to its back, who is actually Dmitri Argoth. After one Green Menace so graciously cut his throat, our necromancer friend’s backup plan was implemented: transfer of his soul to one of his cats. This must happen…

    Ps Sigrid is a byatch.

    Re: PREQUEL suggestion box

    Quit trying to be that corpse, continue to be the worthless Ja'khajiit, who is also technicly the kitten full of blood, or better yet be the Dar'va'suna and be having all the luck.

    This reminds me of some math I thought of when I was asleep;
    DESTRUCTION=Cat pun
    ALTERATION+DESTRUCTION=Animal pun
    CONJURATION=X
    ILLUSION=Y
    RESTORATION=Z

    PUN=FIRE/EVIL INTENT
    ANIMAL=MANIPULATION OF NATURE
    CAT/SELF=???
    (Profit)

    So if destruction is a personal insult that incurs wrath, then restoration should be a complement to katia.

    If the physical plain of the world is interacted with via something abbout animals then CONURATION as a skill that involves oblivion (A fair opposite of nirn) should be something of the oppsite of animals. Something abbout humans as an opposite to animals? Load up CORN related post guys.

    Illusion. No conclusive result here and it would also probobly be a VERY useful asset being katia is not the combative sort of type, and would also be a complement to her natural cat grace. I'd think something abbout her being a THIEF would spark this school, but nothing other than a gut feeling makes me think so.

    I'd make some clever comands but I'm not nearly that creative so I'm relying on anyone who reads my post to do so, please and thank you

    Oh and lastly do not question my math it is flawless deductive reasoning, and you are wrong if you disagree.

    So, I asked Kaz to do it since he has the original artwork, but he's busy at the moment, so I made an attempt myself.
    It's a Prequel Wallpaper and it's pretty big. gonna say too big to post on the forums.

    So you can get the big version here.
    -or-
    Tiny version of it right here

    Kaz could probably do a better job, so don't let this stop you from doing it still Kaz.

    Ok, now this is awesome.
    I'm guessing that it was made in flash, illustrator or some other vector based program? (at least the black bits)
    if so, was it vector traced or drawn manually?
    I've had an idea!
    And this time, it just might work!

    Katia (and the ground) was Auto-traced (with adjusted settings) in Illustrator, the lightning was Photoshop, and lots of things (even the traced parts) had to have some color fixes and the such.

Because robberies are unlawful, the law may be the key to restoring what you was yours. You need a upholder of the law to fulfill a promise....
    Bo-ring! And thus practically guaranteed to fail, driving Katia deeper into dispair and thus even more likely to go to the booze.

    Do you want that on her/our concience. Well? Do you?

    If Katia is destined to be a failure at everything she touches, then dammit we're going to watch her burn the world along with herself, and we can't do that hiding behind the skirt of the law!

    This is where Katia started her story: Is this where you want it to end, too?

    But we want Katia to better herself, and sometimes that means asking for help, even if that help is the law.

    She learned a lot the past couple days and bettered herself and I don't want to see her throw that all away. This is where she makes herself or breaks herself.

    The law can't help her. Don't you remember Asotil's speech about Sigrid? He admires her so much because she's a scumbag who doesn't break the law, and thus is perfectly fine.

    Keep in mind that the Kvatch guard might also be under that same spell.

    Plus, doesn't the guard captain think that Katia's in some sort of cult now?

    I don't think ASOTIL is a very good example of law enforcement officers in general. His reasoning about the law was warped long before he ever met Sigrid.

    In a functional society, you would be correct. But, unfortunately, Asotil is pretty much the prototypical soldier of the Imperial Legion.

    Cyrodiil. They do things differently there.

    (For a fast, positive outcome anyways. I don't mind her suffering as long as it's entertaining. "Igor, get the device...*glee*")
    Katia, I have a quote from someone a lot like you that might help you in this time of need:

    Actually, I think ASOTIL is a perfect example of what passes for a Law Enforcement officer in Cyrodiil.

    The problem is that no matter how unjust Sigrid's actions, at no point have they actually been illegal. No illegal action, no involvement from John Q. Law.

    Seriously. There are no imperial laws against powerful charm potions or spells. As Sigrid did not pickpocket Katia or steal from her in any direct manner, her actions were not unlawful.

    The imperial book of law is no doubt two or three pages long, even then it's probably only due to large text.

    Did anybody ever think of the possibility of Katia having siblings?

    Re: PREQUEL suggestion box

    Oh, Katia. Look at your large pretty eyes and your soft orange fur. You're adorable. You know, even now, my opinion of you is positive and I don't pity you. Losing Everything HAPPENS. It just happened to me. It's time to take a step back and look at the big picture. Changing is hard. You've got to take baby steps. Focus on small things. You're sober. Hell, you couldn't get drunk right now even if you -wanted- to. But that's a good thing. And do you know why it's the case right now? You did it. You've removed the availability of that failure mode. You've gained and lost everything else, so that all equals out. If you'd just do the math, you'll see that having sabotaged the alcohol option you have a net gain in progress right now. No matter what you did, risks or no risks, you would have still ended up just the way you are now except you would have also been drunk. You have just wound up better than you would have.

    You happen to live in a crapsack world where there's no such thing as karma. Bad shit will keep happening to good people, good shit will keep happening to bad people, and shit happening to you has absolutely zero bearing on your worth as a person. You are a being that is capable of logic, reason, abstraction, and emotion, and that makes you one of the most precious things to ever exist. That said, you have the ability to learn. You've learned new spells. And nobody can take your birthright away from you, Atronach.

    I remember how you lamented that your best was slightly less good than everyone else's average. If you could just take a moment to ponder why that is, you'd see that it's only because you've never actually tried before. Now that you're actually trying, things are happening, and you are NOT worse off than you always were. If there's been change, and don't you dare deny it--there HAS been--and you're not not worse off than you originally were--and you're NOT--then that means you are better. Imagine you got off the boat, blacked out, and suddenly woke up naked in the rain BUT HAD THE POWER TO CALL FIRE AND MOVE OBJECTS WITH YOUR MIND. You'd be fucking ecstatic! Don't lie to me, pussy cat, and don't lie to YOU! Like I said before, if you step back and take stock, there is net gain.

    So here's what you're going to do.

    You're going to forget the stupid letter to quill weave. Bad shit happens to good people. Bad shit happened to you; bad shit happens to her. She can deal with it.

    You're going to walk to the temple and ask them for mercy. You have literally nothing to lose, not even dignity. If they give you some rags to wear, then bam: instant dignity.

    You're also going to ask them for a recharge.

    And then, while you have nothing else to lose, you're going to go for a walk in the wilderness with fire ready at your paws.

    Again, you have nothing to lose. If you survive, you'll be stronger. You have everything to gain. And you have magic. You have a means to Do it.

    So fucking do it already.

    Recovering Quill Weave's package isn't solely for Quill Weave's benefit. It's at least as much about for Katia's benefit. It's about self-worth. Once upon a time, there was a worthless Khajiit who wasn't even good enough to be a real person, and right now that person would probably already be heading for the hills burning everything in sight, but Katia Managan isn't going to give up what should be a simple, straightforward task that any normal person should be able to perform for someone who's done them many a kindness. We're not leaving this town until we have that package, or the town is burning down around our ears or both.

    Re: PREQUEL suggestion box

    Katia: This one thinks you need to relax. Dry your eyes, little Khajiit, and keep them that way by getting out of this dreadful weather. You have gotten yourself into a tough spot, no doubt, but this can be salvaged. The letter can easily be replaced. Your honor and dignity...not so much. This calls for retribution, but do not rush after the one who has humiliated you. Give it time. Think it over. Be smart about it. The patient hunter is a successful one. And there is much to be gained here. Don't deny that those piles of gold and gemstones are tempting to you. To leave the witch poor and homeless would be fitting revenge, no?

    You are not worthless. Do not think such nonsense.

    Re: PREQUEL suggestion box

    Katia: Think about how other Khajiit act, now that you've met a few. You need to stop thinking like a Redguard and start thinking like a Khajiit. Don't be so eager to please; by all means do finish Quill-Weave's errand, but be careful about what side-quests you take in the future, and don't get your self-worth so completely wrapped up in success with them.

    You may even want to head off to a riverside and live on crab legs for a while, while thinking about your plans for the future -- now that you have a future, and can make plans for it. But I'm getting ahead of myself: first, get to the temple and get clothes (even if it means facing the scary acolyte again); then get that combat training and anything else you can do in Kvatch; then head back to Quill-weave, join a proper Mages' Guild (and never mention you-know-who or the Mages' Guild in you-know-where ever again), and get those nightmares figured out and treated.

    Katia: Knock on doors, ask for a place to sleep, even if it's just a blanket on the floor, for the night. Ask for clothes and food and a bath. Ask for a dagger for self protection, and a few septims to help you down the road.

    > Not everyone in the world is a monster, as Quill-Weave has shown you, and someone in Kvatch will likely be a generous soul who will help you make it through the night and help you start fresh tomorrow.

    > You do owe Quill-Weave though. Think about how smoothly, maybe almost criminally smoothly that party went for you and how because of that you overcame your fear of nobles, if you think about it she was obviously taking care of you. So use your fresh start to work towards paying her back. She's a friend and Katia Manigan doesn't let her friends down.

    > Press forward and I know it's hard, but leave that khajiit from Hammerfell behind. No drinking. Control your fear, you can still be afraid, but don't let your fear control you. Stop thinking that you are less than a person. And stop yourself to think instead of screaming and leaping into something that may cause you regret or worse.

    > Some of the voices in your head have been harsh and mean when dispensing criticism, some have been abusive, but know that some of the voices love you and want you to succeed and be happy.
