    Mateusz Skutnik's flash games

I was making a post on the discussion thread, and found out along the way that it doesn't look like Pastel Portal Stories has gotten much attention here. The submachine games are quite possibly the best point and click flash games ever made. Covert Front may even be better, but the series is a bit too unfinished (apprently there's a new one coming soon, yay!). Check it all out, Andrew and Mateusz have a lot in common, I think.

    Oh, swag

I knew as soon as I saw the title of this thread "Submachine thread? Hell yes, I am down for a submachine thread."

Oh man, I do indeed love his style. Though, one thing I've never really understood about the submachine series is how so many people understand the storyline. There isn't enough information expressed in the games to really convey the plot well enough. I like the generally unassuming nature of the series, but if we're really going to get a conclusion, we'll have to actually get some more involvement in the story.

Has anybody else played the daymare town series? Really good!

At first I was like "why is this guy's art style so familiar?"

then I saw the submachines. Hell yes.
I don't remember if any of his games had text in them. That was a great aspect of his games, as its pretty much open to all languages.

he certainly fills my quota for extremely pretty things that have tiny fiddly bits that are completely annoying and obscure and I can keep clicking on them until something happens

naturally the operator's manual is in cyrillic or something

you'll have to google around for them, but they are concentrated on a few sites anyway

I hate this things. They give you a false hope and don't let you forget.
