The original game is from the '80s, and the box-art for Rainbow Stash doesn't look post-FiM.

Obviously the creators of Rainbow are hacks who stole from Looney Labs. That would explain why things like Love and Parties are in MLP.

Nothing's impossible. It could have been interesting, but it just wasn't going anywhere. If I make a breakthrough on that concept, I'll certainly make another go at it.

That's a little tough. I definitely know that if I ever make a go at getting published, a story set in the Tinker, Tanner, Hunter, Spy universe (with Equestria taken out, of course) is a concept that I'm actually quite interested in exploring.

While it *is* a fact that Tara Strong has done some mature voiceacting in the past, there's no way she'd do something like that animation - It could get her in trouble with Hasbro, since this *is* a kids show.

So, uh, looking closely at that picture... the serpent looks to be suffering from some serious aliasing issues. There are little white pixels all along his edges, especially visible on the darker parts like the Rarity Tail part of his mustache. Were they unable to get proper vector images to use for these cards? That's not exactly a good sign.

(Also most of the curves in the upper right corner of the card design look super jagged, but I'm more concerned about the poor character image quality.)

Half of the stuff JJ draws is for fun/fanart. The other half he does to keep himself funded.
As for him improving his art, he's doing that by doing art. He's been doing it for long before pony (Pony gave him a rather significant boost in popularity, motivation and skill though). Practice makes perfect.
That's why he does requests: To have fun and to draw something unique, on the spot.

As for BonBon, I'm pretty sure she got her cutie mark for hating everything (Sour candy). She makes up quips and sarcastic remarks like it isn't even a thing. She's like the female pony version of Simon Cowell.

Those are decent points there (although I still wish he'd lay off the NSFW material a bit...), and I confess that I do like some of his SFW stuff. As long as he's showing constant signs of improvement, I guess things are cool, right?

I'm actually pretty certain that Joseco even had a minor fling with Homestuck at one point. So yeah, he's been at this for a while.

Anyway this has been sitting in the back of my mind but Triangle's recent post has brought it back to the surface. I personally get kind of miffed when people say that just because a person does a lot of animated voice acting, especially for kids shows, that they shouldn't be allowed to do more "mature" works, like by doing a lot of kids shows you somehow become a pure and innocent being that shouldn't tarnish itself.
