I know, right? A lot of other crossovers are iffy at best (especially when played straight), but for some reason Ponies and Rhythm Heaven fit together really well!

In other news, I have finally managed to get my hands on an Applejack blind bag. Now I just need a Rainbow Dash to have all I want from Wave 1. There are a couple of Wave 2s that interest me, but I haven't seen any W2 bags so far.

If you don't have a Rainbow Dash, wait to grab her together with Gilda and the Wonderbolt. That way you don't need to worry about duplicates. Wave 2 doesn't exist in the US -- might you mean Wave 3?

Since you brought up toys, I'll mention that I caved and bought Sparkler, Seafoam, Linky, Cherry Berry, and (arbitrarily) "Royal Riff" from Toywiz. Because they were the only ones I wanted that were actually cheaper to get online than at Toys R Us, even with the shipping charges thrown in. I guess I could have gotten Twilight's parents too, but eh. Still leaves plenty of others to track down, but at least I've got a Sparkler to keep me company in the meantime, even if she is glittery.

Rarity doesn't say "darling" nearly so frequently as G3 Rainbow Dash. As a percentage of words she says, at least.

Hmm. I'm not sure I want either of those others, though. Also I'm not sure I'll be able to find the three-packs; my local Target and TRU are both quite short on pony things. At TRU, for instance, it's all confined to an endcap, most of which is taken up with "Look! I can walk!" and the RC car.

As for the numbering... maybe? The first time I encountered the bags I went home, checked the wiki, and wrote down who was in which wave, with their numbers, and put little stars by the ones that I felt like I'd want to have. If they happen to have been renumerated, I don't know about it, but it's the one with Star Swirl and Honeybelle...

If we're telling jokes, I've got one.

So you're living in New York, in an apartment. You get up one day, wash, brush your teeth, get ready to go to work, head out the door and there- at the bottom of the steps- is Pinkie Pie, who looks directly at you as you come out and narrows her eyes.

She's looking much sterner than usual, and for a moment you wonder why she's here, but after cautiously waving hello and receiving no response you shrug and decide to get on your way anyway. You walk down the steps, make to go around Pinkie and are stopped as she slides into your way. You try heading in the other direction, through the other side, and again Pinkie body blocks you. You try climbing over her, but she just tilts herself and you slide onto the steps again; going under just lets her crush you with her rump and then scoot your dazed body back to the steps; she then returns to standing there glaring.

You've gotten frustrated, and you burst: "Pinkie, what the hell are you doing? I'm gonna be late for work, goddammit! Move!"

"Can't, mister," she replies, steely-voiced.

"And why not?" You demand.

"Because you're under... horse arrest."

You know, I've actually been thinking about this. Does Hasbro make any black pony toys? Because if I got a Rainbow Dash, I'd have all four others (RD is blue, I have plenty of yellow for Fluttershy, either Minty or Firecracker Burst would fit for green, and I daresay I could justify either Pinkie or Pepperdance for red), but no black. And while I can think of a couple of show-characters, like Thunderlane and some of the unicorn guards, I don't know that they've ever toyed them.
