The Y-Chromosome is dominant, just like brown hair. If you have it, you express it. Having more than one X Chromosome won't affect your sex, if you have a Y. Okay, no, that was a lie. It might affect your sex, but it's more likely to introduce some other sort of physical or mental difference. Which disorder is the one that causes hyper-aggression? I think it's XXY... Might be XYY, though. Anyway, point is that genetically, the Y chromosome is basically going to overwrite any of the X Chromosome functions that control sex, so having more than one X probably won't make a difference when it comes to sex.

I'm not entirely well-read on this subject, I'm just going from a basic genetic understanding.

Most people with XXY and even XXXY are in fact male. However, it's not quite due to basic gene dominance. The X in males is still expressed (after all, they are effected by all those pesky X-gene based disorders), and more to do with the X gene not doing much of anything. Basically, upon conception, everyone is default female, but the presence of the Y chromosome at all changes that.

Now in someone with two X's, like a woman, one X in every cell will be 'shut off', it is not always the same one. For instance, the gene for how you sweat (light, heavy, what have you) is on the X, so males with one X will sweat pretty evenly, but women can sweat in patches, because one X might have a heavier sweating gene than the other. If one X is 'defective' (for instance, one that carries color-blindness), the other will be expressed, which is why women only get X-carried disorders if they are on both sides of their family.
