AD, which gives us a total of .7 points, increases mobility to high levels, and allows us to be able to dissuade threats.

Re: CELLQUEST: Live Long and Prosper [Multiple Choice, Text-based]

    Evolve:

You squirm around as two rows of tiny colorless Cilia sprout along what can now be considered your sides. The small protuberances run all the way from one end of your body to the other, sticking out above your shiny S-Layer. Your Mobility is high enough to have unlocked a new ability: Dodge! At the cost of 35% of your Belly you can now launch yourself forward in any direction with a short burst of speed.

On the 'front' end of your body, down by your photosensitive Stigma, you feel your cell membrane opening up to reveal a brand new Mouth Pore! In addition to brand new power of eating food without rubbing your entire body all over it, you can use this handy orifice to attack and devour other cells if you so desired.

With the last of the changes over, you can go back to the usual activities of being a cell. Your Belly is only half full (or half empty?) as a result of your recent Cell Division, but after that unpleasant experience with an over-sized body you don't really feel like eating anymore, not that you couldn't if you changed that simplistic excuse of a mind floating around in your nucleus. The distant light has not changed since you last checked, and who knows what could be lurking in that Seakelp Forest? (Other than a clone of you, obviously.)

    What will you do?

    A. Leave this metabolism-wrecking algae heap and go back towards the mysterious light.
    B. Follow in the footsteps (flagellasteps?) of your brother and enter the Seakelp Forest.
    C. Screw it, just eat some more of that kelp after all.
    D. Look for some different food that might agree with your cytoplasm a little more.

I vote for A. I remain curious, as it has been the only constant through every scene we've experienced thus far.

Edit: I would like to remind the players that the Other option is not just for show, and sometimes may even be necessary in order to reach the best possible outcome.
Edit edit: But of course I don't mean to imply that none of the default options will get you out of this mess, just that in the future, the possibility of that exists.

    Act:

You twist around start to swim back the way you came when you sense a large amount of movement behind you! Strangely, it seems like a piece of the Violet Seakelp has detached itself from the sand below and is squirming through the water right in your direction! It easily overtakes you due to its large size, and with it so much closer to you it becomes apparent that this is not a strand of kelp at all, but rather a giant (to you, anyway) creature!

The creature is a member of the Snakeweed species: Despite their name, Snakeweed are actually small, purple-tinted, carnivorous worms that have evolved to take advantage of Violet Seakelp's naturally alluring flavor in order to catch their own food. They are multicellular, and primarily live in especially large gatherings of the Violet Seakelp (though it is not uncommon to find a lone worm in a smaller patch of the stuff), where they imitate the plant so well that they are indistinguishable from it to most species of fish. The Snakeweed's food of choice is small unicellular organisms such as yourself, though they will not shy away from eating a fish if it is small enough for them to catch.

The dangerous hulking worm blocks your progress, bobbing its featureless head back and forth while twisting its plant-like body around as it determines the best way to attack.

    What do you do?

    A. Try to get around the worm.
    B. Try to swim away from the worm, into the Seakelp Forest
    C. Attack the worm before it strikes first.
    D. Other: ___________________

I vote for A. Use Dodge, if necessary. Attacking a large multicellular organism seems futile at this stage, and fleeing into the Seakelp Forest can only either give it more camouflage, or worse, attract the attention of more.

This thing is many times bigger then you and literally eats creatures like you for breakfast all the time so I'm gonna vote against attacking it head on, and I don't think running off into it's main habitat where there could easily be more of them is a very smart idea either.

    A. Get the hell out of there.

I don't know! Perhaps it'll derp off and split up a few times and wait until we evolve a mouth and can scream shrilly for help to each other to burst out of the sea as the calvary! that's a bit far off though.

Re: CELLQUEST: Protozoa Eating Disorders [Multiple Choice, Text-based]

    A wins.

    Act:

Realizing that you are clearly no match for this skilled predator, you twirl through the water with all the speed your many tiny appendages can muster, flying straight over and behind the Snakeweed. As you spin your body and whip your flagella to get away from the beast, it effortlessly twists to face you and lashes out at your fleeing backside, striking you for a single point of damage. (-1 HP)

Though the worm didn't actually manage to break through your S-Layer with that attack, you find yourself unable to keep up your high speed escape and start to feel sick. It seems that Snakeweed secrete some kind of harmful poison from their bodies, and a bit of the stuff came off onto you when you were hit. Your cell membrane absorbs the toxic slime all too eagerly and you continue feeling sick and slowed. (-2 HP, -.1 Mobility) The worm closes in on you.

This is bad. You've got to figure out some way to escape or this could be the end for you. If only there was some way to distract the terrible beast from you long enough to get away... Well, you could always dash out of there using your new Dodge ability, but that would completely empty your Belly.

At this point something that drastic may be your only hope. Do you dare?

    A. Do it. Use Dodge and escape.
    B. Resign yourself to being eaten. Quitter.
    C. Wait, there is another way: ___________________

Is there a sever penalty for having a competely empty belly? If not, try A) Dodging.

Actually, wait. See if that mouth pore works in reverse.

    C) Expel some of your internal fluid in hopes that it is opaque and covers your escape.

Only do A) if my suggestion is exceptionally stupid.

Having an empty belly will certainly have... consequences. That's all I'll say.

Also, for this Act, I have thought up a single "correct" answer that I will use immediately if it is suggested, but if one of you thinks of an especially clever or equally correct action I will use it instead.

Edit: Incorrect 'Other' suggestions will still be used if they receive the most votes and a correct one is not suggested, of course.
