Evolve:
You feel your cytoplasm churning within as some sort of chemical change takes place inside you. Your Geovorous tendencies have caused you to develop the Geophagy ability! Having adapted to eating the mineral-rich sand in your environment, your body can now digest dirt-like materials more efficiently and you gain additional DNA Pt(s) whenever you eat any kind soil!
No further mutations take place and you save a total of 2 DNA Pts.
Your surroundings have not perceptibly changed much at all since you last checked, but you do detect a slight amount of movement for a fleeting moment somewhere above the glowing crater. Probably just the unknown plant getting dragged by the current.
What do you do?
A) Ignore it, and enter the glowing crater.
B) Ignore it, and get a better 'look' at that dead cell above you.
C) Investigate the general area where you detected movement.
D) Other: ___________________

Protein Expulsion: Eject the contents of your Belly through your Mouth in a thick cloud. (-100% Belly)
Damn, missed the voting for evolving.
Lets eat some more Dirt!
A. I'm suspecting it's a vent or something of the sort, in which case there'd be plenty of rich minerals inside to eat.

C. Time for paranoia! Woo!
> Check out what the movement was.
I'm going to go with Checking whatever is moving out.
And I'll throw a vote in for the name Biobe while I'm at it.

Agh! Stoppit! We've got to wait until it makes sense or else we'll rush the issue- dammit.
Name Nomination :
Eletus - Coetus Electo - Group Choice

Yeah, I like Eletus for a name, given it's significance And also because Biobe sounds dull.
Now we've got two ties! We need a breaker in here.
We've gotten them.
Oh excellent! Alright.
Almost missed that name finalization when typing this out.
Act:
Wary of what may behind that suspicious movement out above the crater, you move out over the hole yourself to investigate it. As you pass by the bit of unknown plant matter it becomes obvious to you that you (and your double) are not alone. The telltale shadow and chemical signature of a live cell comes into vision, and it appears to have sensed you as well as it changes direction to start swimming towards you.
Being the cautious little bit of proteins that you are, you back away from the incoming cell and take refuge next to your recently created clone, who seems to have perked up in light of this development and is now nervously swimming around as low as it can get without actually touching the seabed. As the unknown cell closes in you are once again overcome with a feeling of familiarity, and as a second, identical cell suddenly comes within range of your limited senses you recognize the duo as a pair of predators you met early in your lifecycle: Taijitucells!
The two hostile cells seem to have changed somewhat since your last encounter with them, but your senses are not acute enough to detect exactly how. What you can detect is that the formerly small predators are now your equal in size, since you've shrunk so much thanks to your several divisions. They are closing in on your and your double's location fast, and they probably aren't looking to conjugate pili, if you know what I mean (you don't.)
A) Try to hide behind your fellow Eletus.
B) Flee into the glowing crater.
C) Meet one of the attackers head on and strike first.
D) Join the other Eletus in whatever the hell it's doing jerking around like that.

I do happen to know the meaning of the phrase, though our cell admittedly probably doesn't. I vote for D, since it appears to have noticed something we haven't, and taking on the Taijitucells with our measly .5 attack seems unreasonable.
> Be foolhardy and rush into the crater.
Get the heck outta there!
B
B, because exploration.
I think we need to kick their rear at some point. Instill the terror of Eletus into their very DNA.
Unless we could back it up, it would probably be selected against pretty quickly.
We don't have the advantage. Perhaps later...
Act:
With some quick thinking and even quicker gyrations you bolt across the ocean floor and duck down into the mysterious glowing crater at last. The Taijitucell coming from that direction passes over you and, well... It's a good thing single-celled organisms can't scream, because the horrible cries of agony that would be coming from your fellow Eletus would surely haunt your genetic memory for all time. At least that should keep the vicious predators off your flagella for the time being.
It is extremely bright in the crater, and as you squirm down into its depths you can clearly see the source of the light sitting in the center of the large hole along with some other strange, giant rocks. Glowing like some grand treasure hoard, a meteoric core is lighting up the whole area through some process far beyond anything you are capable of comprehending.
Suddenly the world around you quakes frighteningly as something huge moves over the top of the crater, completely blocking out everything above. Then, as soon as it came, the behemoth is gone. If those Taijitucells were still up there before, that probably scared them off. It certainly scared you, anyway. You calm down soon enough while the meteoric core continues to glow, almost beckoning you to go near it, or maybe you're just so tired that it seems that way.
Do you dare?
A) Yes, approach the meteoric core.
B) Swim away instead?

I vote for A, followed by consuming some sand ASAP consider our current Belly percentage.
