Selfstuck is an adventure that is set in the same universe as the main comic, but will occupy a mostly seperate session and storyline. This will be following established canon - Anything i include with relation to Homestuck is with the aim of filling in plotholes and expanding the setting according to my own interpretations and i will not, i repeat, NOT be changing the pre-established facts/canon. The Homestuck kids have their own thing to be getting on with.

DISCLAIMER: The early pages exhibit my first real attempts at art and are therefore utter garbage. The more recent ones are done with a tablet and are progressively less shit. I am an amateur with no training whatsoever who is making up techniques other people are taught as he goes along. The first few panels and miscellaneous others will be overhauled at a later date i.e after I finish Act 3 sometime next year. There will also undoubtedly be some inconsistencies between panels. I'm aware of it and the later panels will be better about it.

In order to locate the MYSTERIOUS PACKAGE, you take a step back and survey the entirety of your room.





Your room is sort-of indicative of your MANY INTERESTS and contains much in the way of ACCUMULATED CHILDHOOD PARAPHERNALIA, which you can't seem to find a reason to get rid of, though you HAVE RECENTLY PUT A LOT OF THINGS INTO STORAGE WITH YOUR GRANDPARENTS.

Your room contains a QUEEN-SIZED BED with black and white patterned duvet covers and pillowcases; A BOOKCASE which is NORMALLY OVERFLOWING with SCI-FI AND FANTASY LITERATURE and a few more ACADEMIC pieces, all of which you have read AT LEAST 5 TIMES EACH. It is also home to a few COLLECTIBLE ITEMS and CURIOS, with a CLOCK/RADIO/iPOD PORT THINGY which is currently charging your IPOD TOUCH. Between the BOOKCASE and your BED is a shoulder-slung bag containing your BOKKEN and Jō STAFF. As mentioned previously, you are proficient with both of these weapons and others. On the other side is a tall slim bookshelf which houses some of your many many DVD's and Video Games.

There is also a COMPUTER DESK with an ADVANCED HOME-BUILT COMPUTER with WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS and a WIRELESS PRINTER/SCANNER COMBI; at which you spend most of your time either playing VIDEO GAMES, writing NOVELS, or practicing at drawing ART for a Nuzlocke run webcomic.

There is also a CHEST OF DRAWERS, which contains most of your clothing and a few miscellaneous odds and ends which don't really belong anywhere specific, such as - but not exclusively: notebooks, a couple musical instruments and more ACCUMULATED CHILDHOOD PARAPHERNALIA. Dumped unceremoniously next to it is your Teddy Bear HOLLY WOODINSON who has watched over you since you were a newborn and you keep him around out of lingering sentimentality.

On your chest of drawers you note is a WIRELESS HOUSE PHONE and an ORANGE PACKAGE which you acquired under MYSTERIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES, and is an object you've been meaning to investigate further, and would have previously if not for being made to follow a PARENTAL COMMAND from your MOTHER who is downstairs at the moment, and the mindfuckery that just occurred.

Moving the plot forward a bit because i don't want to get bogged down by random shenanigans when there's a meteor aimed at my house. And this is in spoiler tags you know. Not that it's much of a spoiler really when you all know it's going to happen.

On your way to the PACKAGE, a WHIMSICAL thought pops into your head, a normal occurence.

Heh.

You open the package you acquired under MYSTERIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES easily, and empty it's contents onto the chest of drawers. You see that it contains A FOLDED HANDWRITTEN NOTE, TWO COMPUTER DISKS, and a SYLLADEX DRIVER labelled as a FREE WILL MODUS. You have no idea what that does per se, as the technology is still somewhat experimental, and not many people possess one. It's one of the scientific curiosities that you've heard about but couldn't find much information on.



First you regard the FOLDED HANDWRITTEN NOTE, which contains another piece of paper which you set aside for the moment.

You'd be skeptical as the next guy. But you know better than that because you are SPACE-SAVVY. You have never seen this note before, and nobody would go this much effort and expense to prank you. Plus, Future You wouldn't start messing with the notoriously murky environs of time-space multiversal travel without a damn good reason.

You briefly wonder how he managed it, but quickly come to the conclusion that you'll find out for yourself at a later date.





The other piece of paper seems to be an explanation of how the SYLLADEX DRIVER and FREE WILL FETCH MODUS work.

Basically, you can captchalogue and retrieve any item you wish to with no real fuss. But you can only do that if YOU WANT TO DO SO. Lack of ENTHUSIASM or 'FREE WILL' will cause the sylladex to reject the command query. In addition, if you attempt to captchalogue more than you can hold, then you must choose an item for it to replace whereupon the FREE WILL MODUS will balance your desire to keep one item over the other and eject the loser. Additionally you can rescind the command, so as to prevent accidental inventory clutter.


You suppose it's cool, but your APATHETIC nature may cause some issues. Future You best know what they're doing. In any case, you get to make use of HAMMERSPACE like a cartoon character, so it's not all bad.

You have also been given TWO UNALLOCATED STRIFE DECKS courtesy of FUTURE YOU. Which is TOTALLY SWEET
