actually, i could def. see the time aspect consisting of lots of major initiative dickery (thinking tidus from FFX--or any time mage really). pop in a "timeclone" to add themselves to the initiative counter a second+ time, (thieves/rogues) taking enemy initiative and givving it to themselves or allies, etc.
though that was probably your intention for the start (in fact i feel you've mentioned it in the thread before).
