"Doesn't matter, wouldn't have been funny either way. Who has Archie teamed up with?"

"The Punisher?"

MetaMorphy:
"If it happened during the 90's it was probably their attempt at a gritty reboot. If it sold well, Archie would take over as the Punisher after the slaughter of Riverdale."

Almost Human:
"Riverdale: Reloaded."

"Riverdale: Resurrection."

Almost Human:
"Riverdale: The Revenge."

MetaMorphy:
"Riverdale: Revolution."

Almost Human:
"Riverdale: Requiem."

"Riverdale 2: Electric Boogalo."

"So the Punisher comes to Riverdale to chaperone the prom, but little do they know he's being followed by a crime syndidoge-turned-military group that, for intridoge and convoluted reasons that aren't important enough to mention, plan to kill him at all costs.
That cost happens to be Riverdale. After having had his parent's murdered in front of his eyes, Archie takes the Punisher's jacket off of what he assumes is his corpse and seeks his revenge!"

Almost Human:
"Veronica Lodge is kidnapped in the chaos and taken deep into the ruins of what used to be Riverdale, further spurring Archie into action. Betty disappears for three years only to re-emerge with her own costume and a chip on her shoulder."

MetaMorphy:
"And a three year old kid of unknown origins."

Almost Human:
"Possibly a clone?"

MetaMorphy:
"Well this is the Marvel universe."

Almost Human:
"Meanwhile the other characters seek revenge in their own way; Moose volunteers for some of Dilton Doily's experiments after he fails to protect Midge from one of the many gangs that now stalk the broken streets of Riverdale, and Reggie is slowly working his way through the gangs ranks.
Why? Perhaps he is truly a villain seeking power and wealth in the wastes of the city, or perhaps he's an antihero, infiltrating the worst gangs to bring them down from the inside..."

MetaMorphy:
"Jughead also disappears, only to reemerge as a Supervillain seeking his revenge on the original Punisher for Riverdale's destruction. He calls himself "The Burger King" but is shut down for copyright infringement."

Almost Human:
"Nah I like to think Jughead wouldn't base his persona on hamburgers or his nickname. Those are relics of the past. Instead he would embrace his true identity and base his new life off of his real name."

MetaMorphy:
"Jughead isn't his real name??"

Almost Human:
"Nope. It's Forsythe. Or rather now he's the villain "FourScythe"."

Almost Human:
"Also, while I'm blowing you mind here; Shaggy's real name is Norville."

MetaMorphy:
"Norville is not a good villain name. Forscythe is though. He has to keep the crown though."

MetaMorphy:
"So when do The Avengers come in? And do they fit into Civil War?"

Almost Human:
"Archie is pro registration in hopes of being able to steal the records and hunt down every superhuman that he personally thinks poses too big of threat.The Avengers come in to try and clean up Riverdale but Archie won't let them. Instead he just turns back to the ruins of what was once Riverdale and say "No. This is my town now. This...is my WORLD NOW." And disappears into the shadowy ruins."

MetaMorphy:
"The caps really sold me on the drama of that moment."

MetaMoprhy:
"If you weren't so swamped with your entire life, this would be an amazing project to work on."

Almost Human:
"I could never do it justice. A premise this good needs a power house of talent behind it, and I have just the dream team in mind; Frank Miller and Rob Liefield."

MetaMorphy:
"Perfect! I'll start making the calls."
