Also, Crocker Corp pretty much had its sticky fingers in every aspect of the world. Guy Fieri was on the Supreme Court already, you know, so having someone infiltrate the educational system and set a holiday for 11/11/11 would be no problem for the Condesce.
And, also, the assassination attempts on Jane; I think Dad kept her home to keep her safe from them as they started to occur more often?

What's the point of the exiles?
I never understood why they exist..... and still don't.

12 OC trolls I didn't take 10 minutes thinking of:
The exiles are there mostly to complete time loops that exist (according to something I read once I think).
Remember how WV and PM sent the package from John (that Jade got in the present, but then got appearified in the future) back to the past so that young!Jade would start communicating with the others in the first place. If the exiles weren't there, that would not have been able to happen.
Also to restore civilization on the dead planets.

Not that we're aware. I think only Snowman and PM were shown to be cognizant of the fact that their actions were influencing events they already experienced. I'd go so far as to say that Slick, Droog, and the White Queen were smart enough to realize their roles, too, but WV is explicitly shown to be rather dim about the whole thing.
Anyone know where I can find a timeline list of each of the troll's conversations with the kids? I remember seeing a good one a while back, but I seemed to lost it.
My thread in Fan Projects contains a timeline listing Homestuck's events chronologically, including pesterlogs.
i made a timeline like a year ago
kids' universe: http://pastebin.com/yrRHfhSK
kids' session: http://pastebin.com/8hV7M3VS
trolls' universe: http://pastebin.com/aKyWYiLa
trolls' session: http://pastebin.com/XTaZS6SS
all the pesterlogs are listed in chronological order on both timelines (e.g. the john/karkat conversations appear from john's perspective on the kids' timeline and karkat's perspective on the trolls' timeline)

I never understood the idea of exiles re-seeding the planet. Doesn't that mean that any future games played on the planets in question would in theory be played by... you know. Prospitians and Dersites? Or at least descendants of them? That just seems a little strange.
CG: OK, LET ME JUST CHECK THE UNIVERSAL CLOCK WHICH KEEPS CONSISTENT TIME FOR ALL FRAMES OF REFERENCE AND ALL PLANES OF REALITY.
CG: IT'S HALF PAST YOU'RE A MORON.
presumably they'd resurrect the indigenous species, or genetically engineer a new one, using the equipment in the ectobiology lab.

edit: the midnight crew built a city populated entirely by refugees from the trolls' session ("a city of slain exiles"), but i dunno if they even had an ectobiology lab.

I always assumed that the Prospitans and Dersites become the new inhabitants of the planet, but it would make sense that they could use the Ectobiology labs to recreate the life that previously existed on the planet.
Though I think the new sentient race would be spared the horrors of Sburb, and left to live the rest of their civilization's life until their star grows too big, and they either jump ship, or burn up with it.
But Terezi's quote LMLYP posted suggests otherwise. It's possible she was wrong of course, but she could be right.

Just because we haven't seen such a session doesn't mean it couldn't exist. The unusual circumstances of A and B (and probably C) prevent it.
Since her term is "ripe for seeding", I'm not entirely sure the carapacians themselves make any life at all. Seems like... *mysterious musical sting* Someone ELSE... is responsible for that.
We don't really know, in the end. This is all part of that pile of stuff that's going to be relevant later that Andrew's quietly swept until a bulging rug while we're not looking.
Can anyone tell me where I can find that thesis someone made for John/Rose?
I disagree: she says "the planet" is ripe for seeding. You don't seed the universe in the planet, you seed the universe in the session. You seed players and and (even more literally) the frog temple and such on the planet. I can see how you're reading it, as it is ultimately the beginning of the process that seeds the next frog, but that really doesn't quite seem to be what Terezi/Andrew is saying, imho.
EDIT: But you ARE right in me being wrong about the term referring to the species, I'm not sure where I was getting that from. Faulty memory.
