> Heresy! Mark my words, Glenn Stiller. A Metal Elephant never forgets...
> JG: Unfortunately all I have is six-foot long screwdrivers and the like, stuff for building HEADS. Cybernetics will have to be installed at the Clinic down the block run buy a Totally Legitimate medical group called Hallelujah Corp.
> Magnum Upgrade: Shoot out a missile shaped like an eyeball, out of the eyesocket, and a new one grows back in its place.
Seriously, why must adventures such as this attract crew members like a Katamari? The world seemed interesting enough on its own without needing to recruit literally everyone we've seen so far.
Grug: Ah, really? I appreciate your comment...MORE THAN YOU KNOW. It's not like anyone can care about a guy whose last name is Generic anyway. I bet I could bring back the Metal Elephant philosophy in the future so it could bite Glen in the ass somehow...
At this point, I really, REALLY want to get back to some stupid robot battling! Luckily that point is now within reach. One more update and we are set. I'll have to try and make it big.
By the way, anyone got future robot designs? As far as stupid mooks go I could make a few up, but hey, USER INPUT is COOL.
> RC: Your favorite color. Also can tell you the most effective trolling strategy for a given target.
Alright, says John. But then John asks about the size of this theorized robot eye. You tell him you'd like to be I dunno about one inch in diameter. Eyeball size. John gets worried, then declines! He says all he has are six-foot long screwdrivers and the like, stuff for building Heads. Cybernetics will have to be installed at the Clinic down the block run by a Totally Legitimate medical group called Hallelujah Corp.
That is, unless you want a giant-ass robot eye jutting out from the side of your head.
You say aight in that case no.
It's really too bad, though. You really wanted one in yellow with Trolltech pre-installed.
After you sell a bunch of robot scraps from Yellow Head, it's time to release Magnum Head and start the long-awaited upgrades! WoOoOoooOooooOOOooooOooo.
> JG: Begin upgrades.
Here is Magnum Head. What would you like to upgrade?
> A FEW more guns.
Obviously.
> yeah great uh
> can you give it horns made of drills
Bada-bing bada-BOOM yo.
> Repair teeth.
Beautiful pearly greys.
> Construct legendary weapon out of robot tooth, before we forget!
Of course. What type of weapon shall this tooth become? Also, will it be equipped to Magnum or Glen?
ADVENTURE UPDATE PROGRESS 5/18:
Equiquest: Very short update today.
Magnum Head: probablynextweek
You succeed in carving the Schematic, which is basically a bigass sceptre for Glen with which to rule the ship. That thing on the top is a robotic blade mini-tooth. When Glen Stiller pushes a certain button on it, the blade goes whizzing out, spelling a spiral-y doom for whosoever is unlucky enough to loiter in its wake.
Any more desired upgrades?

Reason: Changed "tooth" to "mini-tooth" in one instance. Also "spectre" to "sceptre", WHOOPS.

>a robot arm, two preferably, just in case lifting heavy things becomes a situation. Also, what if you run into an enemy robot that has like a giant hand gun or rifle? How can you take it for yourself without doing some crazy-ass on the spot engineering?
Mibbsmibbsmibbs: you'll get your wish after all upgrades are accounted for...!! Oh and by the way, sorry for missing your xray and laser comment~
Panda-s1: I assume you mean that using the robot arm(s) Magnum Head could use crazy-ass on the spot engineering to...infiltrate the ship? Would he engineer one of the Magnum's guns to turn into a hand? Just gotta clarify.
Also, why did I say "one more update" when I really meant "one upgrading montage"? Shookins. Expect more quick updates until Glen runs out of upgrade funds.
Keep suggestin', peeps.

No I mean like if another robot had arms and were using a giant rifle/handgun (y'know, like in Gundam), then without arms there'd be no way for Magnum Head to use it aside from grafting it to it's weapons systems or something like that. Situational, yes, but I'd hate to see some sweet weapon get thrown aside 'cause it can't be used.
Panda-s1: Sounds funkadaisical. As for the mohawk-shaped railgun, you'll just have to see... And what anime is that anyway? All that comes to mind is this idiot.
Besides that, I'm working on some pictures for near-future updates. If no one else has any upgrade suggestions, I'm gonna stop the sequence with the next update which at this rate, will be out tomorrow. Hang tight, bro-hams.

Nope, never mind, I decided to just throw on every single thing I've prepared up till now! ORAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!
> A robot arm, two preferrably, just in case lifting heavy things becomes a situation. Also, what if you run into an enemy robot that has like a giant hand gun or rifle? How can you take it for yourself without doing some crazy-ass on the spot engineering?
As if the latter would even be necessary! The Head's already got a helluva lot of guns, mister.
Here you have two robotic fists. The one on our left is Hell. The one on our right is Heaven. By punching an enemy robot with their special charged attack, the Magnum Head can screw up Head programming by removing its "core". Thus it's possible to stake a claim on opposing Heads, no crazy-ass engineering required!
You warn Stiller to be careful; the special move Hell and Heaven takes a long time to power up. Like, a really long time.
Glen is overjoyed! He says that with those fists, the Magnum can take on AAAANYYYYTHIIIIIIIIIING!
COOL BEANS! Now you're ready to be more of a relentless blood knight than ever before! You thank John for the service, and present your partnership offer to him again. John declines with another gruff expression of gruffness. You tell him WELL good luck being BORED then.
==>
Rebecca looks at the big weapon stash and asks if John really needs this flamethrower laying over here. John says he doesn't see much action here that requires flamethrowing, even though there's a bunch of robot battles in the vicinity.
She takes it.
==>
Aaaaand...
==>
==>
AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!
Meanwhile, in the future...
Bluhton-Dulls.
Where the days are long and the fights are longer.
==>
Where the sands are stained with the inky black blood of a thousand robot battles.
==>
Where the buildings...are made of paper.

Lives - and wars - go on........

That's Misaka Mikoto, Ace of Tokiwadai, aka Railgun. From A Certain Magical Index, or in the case of that specific sequence the spinoff A Certain Scientific Railgun. C'mon man
Basically Index is a light novel series, but Misaka was so popular she got a spinoff manga based entirely on her.
But what the crap did you just post? Am I not the oldest poster in this thread, or am I just that ignorant of the classics? orz
The pilot of the dragon one e is the beautiful maidensister, Zelda Generic, who has an eyepatch too and luscious brown hair and like, 6 fingers on her left hand
Pilot of the humanoid HEAD is Dumpy Douche, son af a billionare. He wears thick glasses and long yellow cape whit a hood. He also has army of servants in his HEAD to everything for him.
Panda-s1: That is the man at the cash register from THE ULTIMATE TEACHER and it's one of the funniest most horrible pieces of trash I've seen all year. The only reason I know about it is some video review site!
Expect updates to be something like this for a while: short, but with nicer images! I'll try to keep track of suggestions, but in the short term most will be unheeded! YEARHGH!!!

AAAAAAAAUGH!!!

OOOOOOOOUGH!!!

Unlike buildings, lives are not so easily rebuilt.
Meanwhile, on the bridge of Roganver Head...
"We're down! The Roganver Head is down! I repeat, we're down!"
"Ship health percentage is 47%! Stamina 82%! Locking 21%! Synchronization rapidly fluctuating!"
"We can't take another hit like that, sir!"
"Sir, your attention is needed, sir!"
==>
"Permission to use our secret weapon, Mr. Douche sir?"
"What secret weapon?"
"The secret weapon you programmed into the Roganver yourself, sir."
"Oh. You mean that weapon?"
"I mean that weapon!"
"Well then. Permission granted to fire that weapon!"
