The irc would be too fast paced. In addition the forum is more forgiving for those moments when everyone is not around at once. It also grants the ability for spectators to watch. Don't worry I plan to be updating frequently as long as the players are active.
You find yourself waking up feeling rather sore. The cold dead air has a salty smell to it and the faint sound of water echos from above. It does not take long to notice that you are trapped in a room with no visible exits. But more interesting, is that you are not alone.
Alexander: Common Sense d20: 6
It occurs to you that it's a tad chilly.
Friedrich: Common Sense d20: 20
Oh a piece of paper.
"To whom it may concern.
Congratulations you have been selected by the Foru to participate in our dungeon filled with treasure, traps and monsters.
You will need to work together to survive, but remember it's not whether or not you win it's that you have fun!"
There is probably a hidden switch somewhere.
Rakanish: Common Sense d20: 4
You are not alone.
Saffron: Common Sense d20: 4
You remembered something important but forgot what it was.
Belle: Common Sense d20: 15
It's rather evident that you did not come here voluntarily.
"Ugh, m'head..." The gunslinger curses silently under his breath as he looks over the other people in the... the room, he supposes it is. "Mornin', strangers... I don' suppose any o' ye know where we are?"
Johnson checks himself for any possible injuries. Just a quick check, though.
(And keep your clothes on, for god the god's sake.)
"There has to be an exit, we wouldn't have been able to enter in the first place otherwise".
I'll check to see if the walls here are harder than my fist.
Saffron: Strength d20: 20
The rock wall in front of you demolishes into small fragments.
Observation d20: 5
Once the dust settles you find more rock.
Friedrich: Observation d20: 6
The Debri left by Saffron's fist is absolutely filled with small rocks.
Belle: Observation d20: 19
Almost immediately you locate a hidden button directly south of you camouflaged into the rock wall.
Saffron presses a hidden button! The sounds of mechanisms and grinding stone resonates in the enclosed room. Soon the smell of salt floods the air and the sound of rushing water gets louder. To the east what was once appeared to be solid stone slides apart revealing a potential exit.
Alexander: Observation d20: 20
You discover a false floor containing a hidden stash!
I suppose I'll tag along with Sinclare.
A made a irc room for conversation and discussion outside of play.
"Hold up Sinclare!"
After realising that he had spaced out, he runs toward him.
As you exit and run through a small corridor the sounds flowing water reveal itself rather quickly. It flows with great turbulence from the south east into two smaller rivers to the north. There is two easily accessible pathways, one to the south east and one to the north west. Across the river, down the long pathway you can see faint glows of blue light.
we should try to find a way to fjord this river, blue light cant be evil, so it must be a treasure.
>search for yet more hidden stuff in the general vicinity
I am constructing a website to hold a lot of information for reference. It might be under heavy construction but as of posting there is more information in the race's section.
its across the river
which is flowing really fast.
anyone got some rope to tie onto tricycle whilst swimming across?
same which is why im searching for a button or something that will raise a bridge
There could be another way across. Lets explore this side first.
