    Name: Tamarath

Description: A people sharing many characteristics with snakes, including being cold-blooded and possessing scales and poison fangs. Their stature is mostly humane, except that their lower body ends in a tail, which they slither around on. Unlike snakes though, their vision is color-based. They live in a tribal society based around their god, Taavende, whom they worship with a passion. Their highpriest is said to be able to hear whispers of his will, and they work dilligently to see that will done however possible. Outside of religion, though, they often behave as individualists, and have developed a culture based largely on hunting wild animals and unwanted intruders.

Diet: They prefer meat, but can eat other things when strictly necessary.

    Starting tech: Hunting

Supernatural ties/powers: Taavende is worshipped as the sun god, and the sun's rays are believed to be his favor driving them on (since they're coldblooded). Whether there is actually anything supernatural about their god is as of yet questionable.
I really should see about getting a new signature.

Colonist Nation! This is gonna be fuuun!

    Name: The Yralian Sultanate

Description: Yralian's are a race humaniod mer-creature's somewhat resembling mythical naga, They are somewhat larger than a normal human but most of the extra lenght is the snake-like tail they posses, thus to fully tower over a normal humans, they however are capable of living on land and underwater without hinderance..Except for cold that will kill them very fast. They are cold blooded and rely on heat sources for energy and sutatianance..however they can save gathered energy for long periods of time. The Yralian's prefer watery and humid area's. The Yralian's also have a high natural defence due to thier scaly body structure which also serves as a sort of camoflauge, Thier teeth have fangs which can apply a paralytic posion. A normal Yralian retreat is populated with about 15/20 heads per village. However since most of the Yralian's are travelers they rarely overpopulate. These retreats are like resting places and a safe havens for the youth. A adult Yralian is probably on the road except if they contribute to to village's fundemental processes (Guards, Hunters, Teachers, Builders e.c.t) Aduly Yralian's are Traders,Explorers, Adventures and Craftsman who roam the planet in search for profit.

Diet: They are omnivore, Sustianing themselfs from various (culviated) underwater plants and hunted wildlife. They can't eat fruits, recieving little or no nutreints form them or dieing due to a anapahleptic shock

    Info about your homeland:

    Flag

Location and Land: The Yralian Sultanate is a state on the distant shores of Kylpto, These are dotted with various coastal cities made out of ship debries which extend to deep under the water surface since being underwater isn't a problem for them, Thier great cities are home to the mayority of the Yralian only small trading posts and villages are extended inland, These are constucted with more 'local' materials (With the exception of isles, these are also heavly populated). However the Sultanate thrives on its dealing with other civilizations, thus its common that there would be atleast a ambassady in other's captials.

Climate: The Yralian prefere to live in humid and coastal envorment. However as the majority of the race are traveling traders its rather comon to see them around various places, However they completely avoid cold regions as those kill them.

History and Culture: The Yralian Sultanate is a accient state ruled over by the sultanate for centuries. The current Sultan is Arhka the Prosperous under who's leadership the sultanate became a efficient trading empire. The Yralian culture is founded on a series of strict but fair laws which must be enforced by the Sultan. They live in a set of controled prosperity, often having less freedom in one area than the other. They stick to these laws and if a law is broken the punishment..in the eyes of other nations..is rather brutal or severe however it keeps crime low. The Yralian's are mostly a maritime civilization having no need for ships other than cargo transport and heavy weaponry they can be feared privateers, climbing on ships form beneath the waves. However they can't feild large armies very well, prefering a hit and run approach or bringing out big weaponry, relying on terror to disuade thier enemies form attacking them. However they are skilled crafters and artistans making valuable trade goods and profiting form them. Thier stance of foreign civilzation are purely form a merchantile standpoint, They are not warlike they just want profit.

Technology: Late-medival technology with a few highlights, such as medival flame throwers (Like the byzantine used) and various traps
Supplies you brought with you: Trade goods (Trinkets like necklaces and that stuff) Building material (For a Trade post). Weaponary (Scimitars, Shields, Crossbows, Tritends, Firethrower for one squadron) Preserved Food: (Enough to last for a year or two) Cultural Stuff (Banners, Crafts and books), Raw Materials (Iron and Steel ingots) Gold (Universal Money)

Mode of transportation to the game map: The Yralian Sultanate had a expedition send into the desert to find a pathway trough it, A direct way to the northern empire's without having to go around the continent with ships, They stumbled upon the oase by luck and dicided to make it a refuge for the future to smooth out possible future trade.

Funfact: They are a seaborne nation. Setting up in a desert will be the story of legend in the Sultanate.

    Theme + War theme:

    Re: Little Empires 2

They weren't really energy beings. I was trying to make them kind of like the Chenjesu from Star Control, but with implantation in creatures rather than super-advanced technology, levitation, natural HyperWave (For those who haven't played Star Control, it's like radio that moves through HyperSpace) receivers/transmitters, electromagnetic powers, etc., I think you get the point here (Chenjesu would be way overpowered).

Still, since you don't like Sandworms, here's another app:

    Name: The Wend

Description: The Wend are a group of bipedal, bird-like creatures. Most have only vestigial wings, though a few individuals can fly. These are considered blessed by Heaven, and are greatly feared and respected. They are around 1 to 1.5 meters tall, and are covered with feathers that can vary in color from black, to red, with the occasional strange-feathered Wend out there. They have two pairs of limbs, apart from the wings. The forelimbs end in three claws, with the third acting as a rudimentary thumb. Their feet have three talons, which can either be flat(For walking), or curled (When holding on to something). The Wend live most of their lives as wanderers, traveling in small groups from oasis to oasis in the desert. Their bodies' natural weaponry makes them slow to develop tools; indeed, very few can actually make them.

    Diet: Meat, fruit.

Supernatural ties/powers: The Wend had a homeland once, in legends, but it has long since gone. There are only songs about the golden days when all could fly and there were towers reaching to the stars. Currently there is one advanced group of Wend: this one. It settled here some time ago, yet still long after The Fall. Since then, they have been developing their technology in the hopes that one day they could reestablish the Golden Age and regain the favor of Heaven, thus restoring their powers of flight. They have a caravan which contains Oracle, the oldest and wisest of the group. Oracle is one of the only Wend that can still fly, though she doesn't spread her wings unless she needs to commune with Heaven.

The Oracle, through communion with Heaven, can make limited predictions about the future. She can also use the power to see far-off places and events. These two are called Mind of Heaven and Eagle's Eye respectively.

Technology: The Wend are very low-tech. They have a caravan, and the means only to repair it. They can use their claws as knives, and can make wheels, rudimentary stone tools, and use of fire.

... Damnit, I've just noticed that I uploaded both my actual start point and the one I abandoned when I realised it was right next to Cliff_Racer. Here's an amended version that should hopefully have everybody to date in it, without two crash sites:

The first turn is officially started!

    First posted, first initiative!

The winds are calm, and no special events have happened yet.

Vancho1, your new application is very solid but your people would be much better suited as natives to this land, if you still wish to continue as colonists that is your choice, but I would recommend starting as natives.

Right now, post your turn now and it's permanent, the next person will copy your map.

Additionally, I think it would be best if the main map remain UNSPOILERED to make it easier to tell which is the latest addition and if there are any inconsistencies. Also, kudos to everyone for getting map issues sorted out! You won't believe how many times turns were missed in the original game and someone had to stitch stuff together.

The Consensus begins to tackle the long task of reconstruction. The Fabricator successfully spews a small workforce of drones, before its fuel supply splutters out.

Half the drones begin repairs by scraping some of the rust from the Ark's hull

The other half begin logging nearby trees, for future use as fuel.

    (Am I doing this right?)

The Archanae build more huts close to their vital food source. More food means a better fed elder, meaning more expansion.

Visier Nazhar? Do my eye's deceive me?, I see grass in the distance, The Yralian said to its companion, They had trekked trough miles and miles of the unforgiving desert sand, A few of their kin had died along the way from their coastal sultanate, Scouts for a new way. Securer's of the future for the sultanate....Yet all that it look like was a fool's quest.

However they would not have dreamed of what they would have found...This was a gods send! You are not dreaming my old friend, We might have found a new place to live. The Visier answered. They approached the grassy area, They could feel it in their bones, There was water here.

But Visier? What shall we do? I presume the place to settle would be the nearest oasis..But what then?
Don't worry Charz, We will do what we have done for centuries, We will build, trade and prosper. However send some armed scouts in first...There might be dangers luring in these forests
    Yes Visier, Of course Visier

The Elmundae go about their daily business, hunting local wildlife and gathering wood to maintain their shelters. (A purple pixel will typically represent one Elmundae but may indicate several in one area.)

And here is my current action:

With the vital repairs of the Nostros and Metheus taking up most of the colonists' attention (meaning the fires were put out and chances of explosions were drastically reduced), some soldiers from the Ocalus explore the surrounding area. The single available attachment from the Nostros discovers a source of water to the south - just as expected.

The colonists of Renidab freshen themselves up at the local spring. They feel rejuvenated, and ready to take on anything.

They do decide however, that this place shall not be where they settle quite yet. Greener Pastures can yet be sought.

The colonists pack into their caravans, and prepare for the next day.

The beautiful Thu Arem race, all cooped up in a small gaggle of stone hovels that they named Partway (it sounds cooler in priest-talk.) The Grand Matriarch stands atop her home, which towers an impressive story higher above the other homes.

"Today," she begins, "we will start expanding once again!"

Partway is a... productive town. They are fifteen people strong, nine of those being ladies, two pregnant. The Matriach realised that this place would need many more homes, after all, if survival is going to happen. There are three major households in Partway. The It, who take up the leftmost homes, is made up of three women, two men. The middlemost houses belong to the Ar, the largest family- five women, and three men (one being a priest.) Finally, the Ny take up residence in the Matriarch's large home- The Matriarch herself and her brother.

"I require the strongest It woman to gather stone for houses! Take a good tool! I need one Ar to chop a tree, we can send two others to assist in returning it. I will see to the tilling of a new farm plot myself."

And so they went to work.

You can apply any time! Though we might be getting more picky about our players. If you're feeling shy, just PM your application to me and I'll give it a thorough sorting!

Flavor will get you much farther here than a lot of tasteless dust.
