I like seeing original sprites. I like them as is, besides it would mean either redoing the old panels and eating up even MORE time or leaving them as is with a weird difference starting with the next panel.

Well, to be honest, the only reason I'm worried was

because I had some other people look over my fantrolls and they had a lot of issues with how their faces were aligned (admittedly, they were pretty messed up, but I'll fix it. And oh wow, spoiler, my adventure contains trolls!)

Meh, chill out. I sometimes even change the body ratios of my characters, noone often notices... (Even though it just may be because of my unstable art style but I don't think so)

Everything is good as it is now, if someone says something, tell them to do it better with their absolute talent. (Hursh person here )

And one more thing I forgot to mention, if you need any extra art for flashes (like Hussie does) just give me a notice I'd be willing to help.

Yeah, they're misaligned. And yeah, I noticed. I don't mind. They're not squishheadded people looking up and to the left, which is where the misalignment really starts to bother me. Some people may care more.

Point is this: You have readers now. If you feel that A) You feel like you don't mind the effort and B) You think fixing that will improve your readership, then go for it. Do whatever will cause you less stress. Minimizing stress will keep this from seeming like some kind of job or weighty pain in the ass.

Sup, guys. This is a really quick intermission from yours truly.
My friends call me Ryou, but you're not my friends, so Sir Awesome will suffice.

I've been thinking long and hard about this, and if I want this adventure to succeed, I need some quality stuff, yo. Now, I'm not talking Alienware high quality, we'll settle for a nice and simple Dell. I've decided to redo the overall hair and facial design of my characters. With increasing quality of my yet-to-be-released characters, they simply looked way too lack-luster, which is understandable, since they're the first I've ever made. Now, as y'all know, I ain't got too much time on my hands, so redrawing all the panels was out of the question. So I figured this is a good way to break it to you guys, nice and easy, while still providing a little more of my comic.
Two birds with one stone. I'm awesome, I know.

Now, for better understanding, I drew some shit on a piece of paper that I found lying around, and also took the liberty to point out some flaws in my old drawings. You'll find that the overall quality improved, and that the sprites now look more canon-like. These seem to be the final designs from what it looks like, but don't take my word for this. I'm very sure I'll redo all the panels up to this point sometime, too. You're free to help with that, it would be much appreciated. Now, let's get on with this, yo.




Now here we've got Kate. Pretty sexy if you ask me, but she wasn't really giving off that "I don't give a fuck"-Anarchist vibe. Well, she still doesn't, because it's just a fucking drawing. But what I've done here is basically redraw all of her hair and took care of these nasty sharks that somehow chose to live in her hair for some reason. I've also moved the face a little to the right.




Okay, so this is Erin. I don't know what I was thinking, must've hit my head pretty hard, but for some reason I thought that thing on the right side of her head looked good. Spoiler alert: It didn't. So what did I do? I removed it. I also redid her hair because it really looked weird overall, I think. I've left the pigtails as they are, because I thought they still looked good. They're stolen from somewhere else, but after an entire hour of trying to draw pigtails I realized that I could be spending this time doing something more productive. Like, playing games or something. I also fixed her messed up looking face, considering canon, at least.
Anyway, I'm still not 100% sold on her look, but it's, in my opinion, a lot better than what we had before.




That's it, folks. I might be doing something like this in the future again, and by that I mean I will be doing this in the future again. This is all I have to say on my girls so far, if you don't like it, well, I guess you can file a complaint about it or something. I'm sure one of my servants will read it sooner or later and brief me about it. If not, I'm afraid your dreams will be hopelessly crushed.

Like I said, I don't really care much about how "canon" they are, but still, I do like how they look a little better now. I just don't it really needed that much of an explanation. In the pre-reboot version of Fieldstuck, I switched my sprites to a completely new style in the middle, and I just slipped it in as a character was changing outfits. But yeah, it's cool.
