Re: [19/24] Potato Cult Mafia (Day Two: Sunrise and Strife)
~My uninormed readwall~ Based on what I can remember from D1 and interactions with me today.
Fwee: Her switch from fluffy and entertaining to trying to be useful is nice I guess. But the fact that she made it on this game instead of her previous two makes me paranoid that she's been asked not to draw too much attention by her hypothetical scummates, so I'd say "scum but under observation"
SupahKiven: I have no idea. If I had been paying more attention I'd say "dangerously flying under the radar".
InoxFy: I thought he was pretty cool yesterday, can't quite really recall why.
seastormjt: The opposite of inox. (S?)he didn't feel very good yesterday and I can't recall why. Possibly lurking??
Acionyx: Neither of us have done exactly a wonderful job at defending ourselves, but his attacks to me today and scion yesterday feel pretty tunnely so... WATCH OUT, GUYS!
Crilly: No idea? I'm thinking he might be town mostly because I have no evidence on the opposite.
AProcrastinatingWriter: The lack of scionlynch yesterday felt off, and his general activity today made me read him even further on the scummy side. Probably my stronger scum read right now.
Airey: I felt good about him D1 morning, but then I think he made some posts that made me mad, and I don't think why he shouldn't be scum?
anacreon: He felt terrible D1. He's doing a bit better today and I guess his claim makes sense? But I still think he's scummy and a silly claim ain't gonna move me from my reads specially if I'm the other lynch candidate
MasterBlade: Vanilla claim. Okay, town i guess.
Doofaeus: I have absolutely no idea why I think he's town. Probably something to do with the beginning of D1 where I thought he was nice.
irrelevantEternity: iunno :S
crepuscularDissembler: Okay I guess? Iunno, nothing she says sounds unreasonable, but I haven't looked at her posts much.
GenetiXientist: I think I've never read or played a game where I didn't read Gene as overenthusiastic townie, and this one is not different.
OzTheWizard: I have conflicting opinions about him? Feeling okay-ish though.
Potato Panic: See "SupahKiven"
Zatch: Yeah okay scummy zatch as usual...
Sruixan: I liked his first post. I gotta admit I only skimmed the others, but said skimming didn't catch anything terrible.

Yeah that is correct.
I'm trying to use flavor as a way to say I'm and important town role without saying it because I'd rather live through the night.
Maybe you /should/ have caught on that before saying anacreon's thingy feels town and I'm terrible????

Hell no
Anacreon straight up went "claiming is terrible for me" and then claimed a role that A. Is provable and B. WILL GET HIM KILLED IF HE IS NOT IN FACT THAT ROLE
YOU offered a vague "~I'm important~" and you are still sitting on it trying to slip out on the merits of a self admitted halfassed readlist

Also, Acio, sorry if my survival instinct misled you, but I'm not trying to argue that anacreon's claim is terrible and mine is good. I'm trying to say that your reaction to them is bad and I think you should die.
There's your hug. A hug to squeeze the remaining fluff out of you.

If Anacreon is vig, then they should prove it by shooting Zatch tonight. That way APW can vote for someone who isn't a lurker, and we won't have to waste a day on a lurker. Everybody's happy. That being said, I'm wary of the vig claim, but if Anacreon is lying, then the vig can shoot him tonight. Of course, the roleblocker might try to block him, which would suck majorly. Does Doc protect from roleblocking?
Also, Epamynondas, on my first game, I was lynched day 1. Second game was really confusing because scum was town for some reason? I just... I don't even know.

I'm already voting someone who isn't a lurker. Admittedly, this is only a recent development, but on the other tentacle, it's a pretty recent development, dude.
More importantly, what makes you assume there is a roleblocker?
(Also no, Doc doesn't protect from roleblocking).

As the day progressed, opinions and tempers flared in Epicboxland. While poor anacreon nearly found himself with a rope around his neck, it was Epamynondas who was elected to die by the noose that day.
Despite their efforts, however, Epamynondas just wouldn't budge. People kicked him and shot and stabbed him, but Epamynondas just stayed put. Eventually, they tried to bring the noose to him, and realized it didn't quite fit. This inane display of attempted lynching was broken by Epamynondas speaking.
"Guys." Everyone just ignored him as they wailed on him, desperately trying to kill him. "Guys, are you fucking serious." No such change in attitude happened. It was only when everyone stepped back and took a look at Epamynondas did they realize he was not quite... human.
In fact, Epamynondas was a dragon. A giant fucking hydra at that.
"Fuck you guys. Did you really think-" The other of his two heads began to speak. "-you could kill a giant fucking hydra with a noose, let alone... ah, forget it. Since you guys want me dead, I'll just go."
Epamynondas spread his wings, and the giant fucking hydra flew away. Did the crowd really not notice there was a massive dragon in the meeting? How the hell did he fit in the meeting hall?
It’s been four fateful years. It took guts to break off from that one community and reside in a smaller one. It took even bigger guts - and a hearty sense of determination - to break off from that one and start your own. Four years later and after a collapse, he had true friends - and they’re in danger. As the leader of Epicboxland, it’s almost his duty to save them. Almost.
Epamynondas was Lanith and Rathiel Verninaz, Giant Fucking Hydra. About four years ago, he broke off from another collapsing community and set up his own. Along with some allies, he managed to survive up until now - and now that his life is also brought into danger by these potato cultists, it’s time to take action. Of course, being the founder of the community that evolved into Epicboxland makes him quite a figure of authority - and in due time, the cult should fall under his strength. Why is that exactly? Because he's a giant fucking hydra, that’s why.
Being a giant fucking hydra has some advantages to it. Namely, he's a huge dragon. Covered in scales and thick skin and muscle, no puny bullet or knife or hell even magic will shatter that tough exterior of his. Of course, given enough time and an attack, someone could figure out how to pierce his mythical defense. By the time someone’s found a way through his scaly coat, however, you’re likely to have them strung up.
He was a Town One-Shot Bulletproof. He would survive the first non-lynch kill that was performed on him. He was sided with the Epicboxlanders, and would have won when all threats to his faction were eliminated.
Dismayed by the death of one of their most powerful allies and their original leader, the rest of Epicboxland and the ALFDM split up for the night, hoping the Potato Cult would show some mercy on the rapidly weakening congregation.
Night Two ends August 14th at 10PM EST. (~48 hours)
Please check in within your quicktopics, and be prudent in getting your nightactions in!
Re: [18/24] Potato Cult Mafia (Night Two: A Dragon In The Room)
DAY THREE
A Time Bomb Ticking Away
Throughout the night, many members of the ALFDM had difficulty catching sleep. Lights remained on, conversations took place, and a few brave souls walked around in the inky blackness of the night. Hoping they'd manage to catch the Potato Cult deliberating their next move, people spied on their neighbors in the valley. However, some of the conversations proved to be mind-numbingly boring, lacking in any worthwhile knowledge, or sometimes, both.
"...I heard he really makes a killer cup of tea..."
"...And then, he flipped scum! I was not expecting that..."
"...about him? I heard he's crying about his game being broken to hell..."
Eventually, determining no such planning was going on, the majority of the nervous crowd eased to sleep. They expected to awaken for another morning of deliberation in about six hours, ready to hopefully find and kill one of the Potato Cult.
That is, if they were not woken at five in the morning...
BOOM
Outside, it sounded as if a massive bomb had gone off. The air briefly flashed a threatening shade of red. Smoke was seen pluming from the meeting hall - it looked like the roof was burnt by a laser, and the inside of the hall was razed with high explosives.
A massive pile of rubble stood where the execution platform once existed. Working to remove the rubble, they soon find the body of Zatch. The Epicboxlanders immediately identified him by the magic still present on his cadaver... and by the familiar trinkets a certain person kept on them at all times...
This crisis isn't exactly something she wanted to deal with. Violence and chaos is rather common among the Epicboxlanders. Usually any kind of situation resolves itself, specifically the internal issues that often pop up. Since this isn't wasn't away any time soon, it was time to take an active role in the madness herself.
Zatch was Silver, Passive Mystical Healer. While most of her friends are well armed for combat, she was not a believer in such a thing. Instead, she resolved herself to be the counterbalance of niceness in the group, working towards magnanimity instead of assisting in any vitriolic matters. So far, her presence among her friends has done a good job of quelling internal conflict.
This time, however, is time to take a more active role against the scum that threatened even her life. While she wasn't a combatant in any way, shape, or form, she did have knowledge of the arcane that should help. Being the group's healer, she could protect her allies from the murderous intent of the Potato Cult as long as she remain alive. By casting a magical barrier around someone's residence, she should be able to stop anyone from harming her allies.
He was a Town Doctor. Each night, he could cast protective magic over someone, protecting them from death. Unfortunately, he lacked the ability to maintain protection on himself for long, so no self targeting. Zatch was sided with the Epicboxlanders and would have won when all threats to his faction were eliminated.
"Motherfucker!" One member of the ALFDM lost his temper for a brief moment. It wouldn't be long before the Potato Cult would wipe them out...
...Wait.
Someone's missing.
The group looked high and low, but a certain GenetiXientist could not be found...
GenetiXientist has gone missing.
And, to top it all off, that wasn't all that happened. As the sun dawned, there was yet another deafening blast. The group ran to the sound, worried another death had occurred. Instead, they found a stone wall someone had noted earlier had been blown open... and there was a tunnel leading down into the earth.
At the end of the tunnel was a large underground chamber, supported by intricate bronze piping and with flowing water creating an underground lake. The tunnel led to a large section of carved stone ground, and in the center of the back wall, was a large vault door...
...on which explosives were planed.
"That's the dragonstone vault!"
The time bomb's counter flickered and jumped around wildly, then went blank. Four letters appeared, striking fear into the Epicboxlanders...
Today is (POSSIBLE) MYLO.
Immediately, the group turned in on each other and stared each other down. One little spark could set off a fight... and doing their best to avoid any kind of violent conflict, they proceeded with the lynch in the dank, humid underground chamber...
Day Three ends August 19th, 10PM EST. (~120 hours)
With 16 alive, it is 9 to lynch and 5 to soft lynch.
Re: [16/24] Potato Cult Mafia (Day Three: A Time Bomb Ticking Away)
Zatch.
I hate you.
I hate you so much.
Also, what is MYLO? I want to know before I cast my vote which may or may not doom said person.. SPEAKING OF WHICH; I have to go to sleep RIGHT NOW, and will be gone for most of the morning. I'll post the day two voting sequence ahen I get back. Good night, all.
Airey's wagon from day one is a mass of town followed by inoxfy and oz. I'm pretty reasonably certain there is one scum between the two of them and I'm still town on Oz. This along with causless wagon being where the resistance existed makes him pretty likely scum along with his incredibly empty pile of crap yesterday that I let him get away with by defending him.
Doofaeus' day one wagon looks like mostly town and doof has been barely existant since day two. He's incredibly unaligned with crilly and while crilly's been awful this game I don't /think/ he's scum. Doof's also sitting on a wagonfluffing spot on the early causeless lynch.
Kiven's danced his butt around doing much of anything; he existed early on the epamywagon and did literally not a damn thing for the rest of the day. The likelihood of him being scum also makes me more comfortable with seastorm.
IE is scum. She disappeared after the daykill, made ONE post yesterday in which she pulled some bullshit whinging and then vanished and never voted at all. I should have eaten her heart but whatever.
APW is what he was for the whole of our thing yesterday. Wasting time on empty votes on lurky people and he only got on epamy after I counterclaimed him.
Potato panic's a vote analysis thing. These seven are my top suspects and I have zero issue lynching any of them.
Re: [19/24] Potato Cult Mafia (Day Two: Sunrise and Strife)
Aciyonix
Are you really taking that whole thing yesterday where I insisted for pages and pages that despite what everyone thought and despite the fact that it made everyone hate my guts I insisted Epamy was town
And then he turned out to be town
And using that to argue that I am scum???
Because normally I could kind of see that being maybe a legitimate argument except you said the exact opposite yesterday.

I'm not sure why you have such a hate-on for me, but this seems just a tad careless and obvious of you. So much so that I'm a little suspicious.
But then again there's also this, which I can't believe I missed yesterday.

Who was it again that was my most vocal detractor for wanting to lynch a lurker? The answer is that it was you. Obvious, so obvious, so blatant.
In addition, you certainly didn't seem to want to pressure anyone besides me yesterday. I, the only vocal detractor of an Epamynondas lynch. Almost like you were trying to push a mislynch and didn't want me interfering.
While I would also be happy with a SupahKiven lynch due to lack of SupahKiven and a Fwee lynch because Fwee's main reason for voting Epamy was that he wouldn't answer her questions while he had no access to the internet I do believe that with all the evidence I'm going to Vote: Aciyonix.

Re: [16/24] Potato Cult Mafia (Day Three: A Time Bomb Ticking Away)
Hey PS APW
Two Questions
1. What are your opinions on THE OTHER SIX people I've named as scum. "Not sure" is 100% unacceptable since you know, mylo.
2. How do you resolve your supposed opposition to the Epamy lynch in light of the fact you hopped on board not only after it was guaranteed to happen and you never ever posted a vote on Anacreon who you repeatedly claimed as probable scum but never backed up
