Yes, there is a mirror video and dance tutorial on Youtube for "Bad Apple". Not sure if we're going to be dancing to that song, though, since there has been some changes to the flash mob times and etc. I'll make sure everyone gets updated about the finalized songs and things like that later.

Even if we don't dance "Bad Apple" in the flash mob, my Homestuck dance group will be dancing to it in the future. Feel free to PM me about that.

Yes, I understand. But just make sure with the coordinator and the person that you know personally (that would be the best option) that the bucket throwing is A-OK with them. I know many people who are seriously offended by thrown objects. Also, please know that we will be out in the public and others will see our actions, too. We must be as respectful to them as we are having fun as a group. Thanks!

It's seen as a tumblr-stereotypical 'bad homestuck fan' thing to make jokes of, from what I've observed.

Hi dear, I haven't gotten a reply on the approval of the new song list yet... I think the admin will be away for some time. :/ With that, I am pretty sure we will still have the song, "Discord" as I have already choreographed it and will be recording the choreography soon. "Turn Me On" also sounds like it will have a high chance of being approved also.

I've looked at some of the Tumblr posts, too, and I agree. Throwing objects really shouldn't be allowed... especially because we are going to be in public with regular people watching us. We're going to be in the flash mob to dance, have fun, exchange contact info, and then leave. It's really not going to be a time for horseplay because it might cause danger to others around us and bad reputation for the fandom.
I know that in Washington state (I used to live in Kent), there was a bad reputation that lay upon the Homestuck fans there. Even today, people in my neighborhood of San Francisco still shun me because I am from Washington. I think it will be best if we are on our most high-level behavior and keep our manners in check.

Hey everyone, sorry I've been gone. I'm going through a VERY tough time right now so I won't be here very often but I will try to check in more often. I'll start creating a list of rules to post on the OP for everyone.

One thing, NO BUCKETS. PERIOD. People at cons have been throwing them at people and that is NOT OK. Whoever it was that suggesting hitting a Karkat with one needs to grow up and realize that that could hurt someone! We don't need to prove to the ENTIRE WORLD that we are THAT kind of fandom. And it's just plain dangerous. Remember there will be spectators and you don't want to accidentally hit one of them, plus throwing things like that is just not cool guys.

Yes we are shortening the Song List due to complaints of it being too long. It will be 4 or 5 songs and then the rest of the time will be just like a regular Homestuck meet up.

A lot of people also don't like having things thrown at them in general, myself (and probably Karkat) included. It just wouldn't make for a... dignified, I guess? representation of the fandom.

Just a heads up: I got injured during practice this past week. I was going to record, but I can barely move my back right now, so the dances are gonna have to hold off until another date. Sorry guys and girls.
I really try my best to stay healthy, but this is why some dancers retire earlier than others. Dancing is a dangerous sport.
