Did the WtichHunt forums go up from maintenance or whatever when I wasn't looking?
Apparently we're not relocating until some things are worked out and the new forums are ready. Smooth transition and what not. I'm guessing this means we have a few more days until we move. (Don't quote me on that.)
That's what I remembered it being. And the point is, once we relocate, this topic will be closed. In fact, the sound of things implies these forums will be archived, THEN the WitchHunt forums will be linked to.
It is thus entirely probable that even if I am there at the instant the WitchHunt link is put up to signify the move, it will be literally impossible for me to post a link in this topic. That's the source of my confusion earlier as to the WitchHunt forums [not] being ready to go. It all centers around this phrase:
I'm Sorry I Thought That Was Obvious
So deificAnuran had a really good idea.
Which I took and adapted into a really bad one.
Let's keep going until this topic dies, but since it's gonna go soon let's not at the same time.
Here's what we're gonna do: no points will be kept track of in the long run, I'll judge first one, maybe all of them if people like that idea. Either way, we're not doing the Homestuck/Problem Sleuth Caption Competition.
Until the first post in the WitchHunt forums is made, we are specifically doing the NOT a Homestuck Caption Competition. I and others (possibly just I if people like the idea) will google image search for the phrase "Not Homestuck", quotes optional, and choose one of those pictures to post in this caption competition. Parameters adjustable, any page. The further or closer you can get to or from something related to Homestuck, the better. But no posting any panels from the comic itself. For example, our first picture:
Credit for picture goes to burnthetreasure's deviantart page.
As winner of the previous competition I support this idea.
Also
You have absolutely no memory of scribbling demons and harlequins on your precious posters. Now sexy bunnies on the other hand...
The choice to make the "Where the wild things are" movie a psychological case study of a young man obsessed with small stuffed animals was an... interesting one to say the least.
You try to think of a caption for this picture but are thoroughly distracted by your inner Homestuck screaming "JOHN'S FINGERNAILS ARE YELLOW THAT'S NOT CANON THAT'S NOT CANON THAAAAAT'S NOOOT CAAAAANOOOOOOOOOOON"
John's coming out party was not what anyone excpected.
As much as this romance between boy and bunny is cute, how did John even get to LOFAF?
Seems I'm in need of a new sig...
Best if you keep your eyes on the POST, not this blank Slate of Space
Andrew Hussie's cinematic take on The Velveteen Rabbit was a little unorthodox, but just as heartwarming.
Finals. Expect activity/updates/whatnot to be sparse until well into the summer.
As if romance wasn't already complicated enough, here we see John exploring the newly-invented bunny quadrant.

What the bear is thinking: "John-sempai finally noticed me~"
Sig Quotes 'N Stuff
i must kiss the bunny!, he shouted.
NO JOHN, Karkat said. I AM THE BUNNY.
And then John was a homosexual.

I immediately noticed that 95% of everyone on the opposite side of every argument were complete idiots. After a while, however, I started to realise that 90% of everyone on my side of every argument were also idiots. Then I realised that statistically, that meant there is a 90% chance that I am an idiot. And now I don't post on the Bioware forums anymore.
uu: MAKE THE MALE EAT THE BuNNY
Check the stuff in the spoiler
You are my very special someone, Mr Bear, and even if people don't understand our love, we will still stand strong!
The best part about being awesome?
Being awesome.
For once, John cannot put the bunny back in the box.
SO thanks to the timely reopening of these forums and the ferocious generosity exhibited by Drillgorg (who has allowed me to make a singular post here to link to the specific topic in the WitchHunt forums), I'm able to link to the WitchHunt forums after all!
In fact, here the link is! If youdont12know doesn't update soon, I'll take over judging for a round so we can continue.
