So. Finally got back to Sanctuary after getting it up into the air. Then I went to Claptrap's birthday party.
Oh gawd.
Beat the game on Sunday, anyone want to make a team for Playthrough 2?
This would be preferrable to dying repeatedly
Out of curiosity, what level were you when you finished?
Around 31 or 32
Blah. I want to keep my golden key until I hit the max level, so it looks like I'll have to look forward to the awesome loot on my second playthrough.
Follow the developer on twitter. He gives shift codes for more keys.
I beat it as well. Ended up cheesing the final boss from outside the areana.Just couldn't take it head on.
Supa serket endgame discussions.

Got The Bane earlier. I really don't like it. Not because of the curse ( Which is both annoying and hiklrious ) but because of the slag element on my one.
Slag is basically worthless in Single player for the most part i find, especially with rapid fire weapons. It's just not effective. That said i got a sniper rifle from Mordecai that ignores shields and becomes more accurate in Fight For Your Life whixh is pretty awesome.
My previous co-op offer also applies to new characters. Really I just want to play co-op in this game
Just finished the chasing-after-Roland quest like what the previews for the game showed. On my Siren. Axton doesn't have the weapons to keep playing solo.
Chasing after Roland? Do you mean in the mission where you fought the Hyperion robots and the gun-worshiping bandits? It was actually pretty easy for my Axton to get through, though it was more because of me relying on my turret to draw the enemies attention away from me rather than on my weapons. Which, currently, are pretty sweet, though seem like they may need replacing soon.
You know what was awesome? Saving Roland from the Bloodshot place without having to go all the way to the Hyperion Prison thing.
Basically I was helping my brother speedrun and level up quickly, and I figured, whatever, might aswell deal as much damage to W4R-D3N until it flies off.
Turns out you don't have to do that part of the mission and you save roland there instead.
It was super bullshit on my first run of the game though, considering the game refused to give me corrosive or shock weapons until immediately after saving him.
ugh.
My Axton's actually stuck back right before the Firehawk. Which means trying to get through a ton of fire enemies. When my only good weapon is Flynt's Tinderbox.
Cervos: Wait, what? Roland could have actually been taken to the Hyperion Prison (is it the one in the Dust?) if a player is too slow?
Yeah, if you take too long to kill W4R-D3N, Roland gets taken away to that Hyperion Prison near The Dust.
Which happened my first time with it because I was focusing on all the robots it made, and I didn't have any Corrosives at the time.
ugh.
I think at that point i had a corrosive sniper rifle. Also, just finished the main story mode ( It wasn't nearly as difficult as i'd been expecting ) and i'm thinking of taking on Terramorphus next before i call this playthrough done. Who's up for dying over and over again to a tentacle hentai reject?
He's level 52, you're not going to be able to take him down after just one playthrough
So, to those farther along the game than I am, are there any other missions that might be time sensitive like Roland's rescue mission (other than the delivery quests)?
God this game is every bit as addicting as the first one. The loot. The characters. My only upset is I didn't pre-order. Ah well.
Meanwhile I am setting up a beautiful Axton-type, focusing on those skills that lean toward mostly Turret upgrades. This plus a corrosive assault rifle (a Bandit manufactured one no less...) and that Scorched Earth ability. Everything just keeps dying.
Also, is Zero any good with sniping? I kind of played a laid-back Mordecai (focusing on Bloodwing attacks and power) plus sniping in the first game.
Just respecced so I could get Scorched Earth. It's freaking beautiful, man. I....I just don't have the words to describe how great of a sight it is to see people getting constantly blown up each time I retrieve and re-deploy my turret.
