First off, all adventures that have ever been posted on the forum are eligible, so more adventures will get nominated by default; on top of that, I wouldn't be surprised if the pace of new adventures went up as more people noticed this subforum.

Second, just ask one of the other judges sometime about how I hunted them down and demanded their opinion on one category or another, plus the funtimes of grabbing whoever happened to be around on IRC to finish off the last few presentations.

I'd estimate that we spent two months deciding on finalists, another two months on the relatively easy-to-decide categories, another two months desperately hunting increasingly-busy judges to settle on the not-so-easy categories, and then another two months waiting for people to finish their presentations.

You should just get slaves for that.

    Actually, I don't know.
Last time I used slaves, we were in the Himalayan mountains while I forced them to carve my adventure into the virgin sacrifices so we could offer them up to the Sun God Ra.
The Sun God rejected them, saying, "Dude, Go4moo, your writing kinda sucksss..."
And I just thought to myself UUUUGGGGGHHHH..
There was no pizza party that night.

    I dunno.
