    Well, of course it's a joke. Nearly the entirety of Kankri's characterization is a joke.

    I don't see why that means we shouldn't take the information given to us in his speech seriously. This is Homestuck, after all. Everything is important.

    I think Jade is probably straight, at least most of the evidence points that way.
    Roxy almost definitely likes dudes, and I haven't seen much (correct me if I'm wrong) evidence of her being attracted to, well, Jane I guess, even with Cotton Candy.
    I need to get the book because Rose being attracted to dave is 200% funnier than it should be for me. I think it's mostly the fact that Rose projects all her insecurities and stuff on other people so when she teases Dave about wanting to bang their mom and stuff she is just projecting what she herself wants to do (which is, again, hilarious).

    Joining in here with some ships! Most are crack but yeah... I like thinking about how their personalities would work together or clash. So no. I don't care whether they've met or not or whether it has appeared or been hinted at in comic canon. Nor do I care about the 'sexuality' of characters. This is shipping. Everything is shippable.

    OTP: Dirk Jake (Also Dirk AR Jake - since AR seems like he wants in on that)

    Considering Karkat's relationships with John and Jade I can kinda see it going pretty well?? Also I'd LOVE for Jane to end up with a troll honestly Especially because she's such a skeptic but at the same time being really into monsters! I think it would fit her well~

    Yeah they'd go pretty well together, what with them both being characterised as the most "normal" people in their group and fairly hopeless romantically. Plus they're both skeptics through and through. Yeah, i'm thinking this is a good ship! Especially because it means Jake X Dirk and Terezi X Dave can now continue unabated!

    Man, I never didn't like Terezi/Dave as a ship. Everyone gets so into the whole Terezi/Karkat thing but that just seemed like a stale-as-hell relationship to me. Dave and Terezi can make bad webcomics and horribly animated gifs all night long
