Indeed, sorry for the delay. I forgot to bring the materials for this game from my computer at my dorm to my home in a USB or something, so I've had to recreate those files. And I've just been plain busy this past few days. Rest assured I am working on the update, though.

The Othotsken first began to expand outwards after signs from the Noten first became clear to the nre’nen council. When he realised that the time had come, al’nre’menen Hotan chose the ambitious al’hak’nen Terref to lead the Othotsken armies.Terref’s power and ambition would define the next twenty years, with the support of Hotan.
The Othotsken first expanded southwards, meeting a people called the Qi. These, descendants of the Chinese who originally occupied the area, were amenable to a treaty, especially since other nations were beginning to rise from the ruins of a cataclysm that seemed to have occurred just before the Othotsken expanded. Expansion from there moved to the east and west, with islands on the east coast of Asia being captured, and colonies in Eastern Europe being established. The European powers in the area did not react well to the Othotsken’s presence at this time. (SEE: RELATIONS IN EUROPE)
At this time, one of the most important innovations in the history of the Othotsken occurred. The swords and bows which had served the Othotsken so well were outstripped by the weapons of most other countries, who could create firearms and other modern weapons. Othotsken nir created the faith engine, which allowed faith to be transformed into energy. (SEE: FAITH ENGINE) The faith glove was created as part of this. Horrendously expensive and powerful, the gloves allowed faith to be focused into shapes, allowing the wielder to create unbreakable shields, swords of energy and incredible missiles. The faith glove’s destructive power was quickly recognised, and Terref had one built for himself. The presence of this glove was the main factor in his downfall.
While Terref embarked upon conquest after conquest to the west, at the capital Hotan died and a new nre’menen was elected by the nre’nen: al’nre’menen Atosk, a fierce critic and sworn enemy of both Hotan and Terref. Terref’s use of the faith glove became increasingly worrying to the nre’nen, and Atosk ordered the construction of another faith glove, for an emergency. The glove was finished just in time, for Terref decided without order from the nre’nen to invade a nation called Arainia, which occupied much of western Asia. Atosk immediately left the capital to attempt to slay Terref. He was successful in this, although he was injured greatly. The light from his battle with Terref was noted by many nearby nations.
After killing Terref and taking his faith glove, Atosk returned to the capital. He flew upon the city with wings of green and blue and immediately called a council of the nir’nen. At this council, Atosk ordered that faith gloves should never be made “save in direst need”. He then resigned as nre’menen and flew to a large island on the eastern side of the Bay of Othotsk. This island has been known as the Isle of the Guardian since then. (SEE: ISLAND OF THE GUARDIAN).
In the years after this, the Othotsken were able to use the faith engine to create faith-forged blades and shields; these blades had faith energy inbound in them, allowing them to change form slightly, although to a much lesser extent than the faith gloves allowed. The weapons were also much stronger and could resist far greater impacts. These weapons aided the further expansion of the Othotsken from there.
A History of the Othotsken by al'nir Hezen
I'll probably do a round up like this every five turns or so.
Also, I have a problem. For christmas holidays, I'll be away for two and a half weeks without proper internet from Dec. 29. Would anybody be willing to steward the Othotsken for that time, or will it just languish for this period?
There is the possibility there won't even be an update during that time period, since I am also expecting to go on a vacation. If there is, though, and nobody else decides to play as them for that time, they would be NPC'd but would continue accumulating MP and not have the risk of falling apart.

It's pretty risky for countries in Asia to go inactive for a long time. Even Canada 2.0 wouldn't stand a chance while Hammond is gone. The Leash looks pretty aggressive
I can see one of the Australian, Caribbean or South American ones go inactive without consequence. But not the rest.

This is really cool I hope I can find the inspiration to make up some interesting RP.
DAVE: you dont ask about mayo thats not what you do with mayo
So, it may have been obvious from the long, long delay in this update, but I am simply having trouble finding the motivation or time to work on this thing. To that end, I think I may have to put this on hiatus, until I can find both. My sincerest apologies to all of you, and I hope that I can do this soon and that all of you have had a good enough ride so far.
I thought that story about the Gloves of Faith or whatever they were called was good enough to be an inspiration. It proves that perhaps at least some of us can write interesting fluff. XD
No offense to the rest of ya. I just got here late and haven't read most of the other RPs.

Have you read Hammond's?

GUIS. THE GAME IS FAILING. WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING. WHO WANTS TO BE THE NEW MODERATOR?
First of all, read all of it.
All of it.
Second of all, you can't just suggest a new mod out of nowhere. If you haven't noticed, this is still myth's thread. Go ahead and make your own, but don't advertise it here. And Hamond's not coming.
Also, don't necro. This is kind of obvious. Dunno why you necro'd just to answer that one post when you could've PM'd me.
