Ha ha ha, that image cracks me up, Aradia is hands down my favorite troll in the series and to see her completely oblivious to Sollux's pain brings a smile to my face.

By the way, I recently watched Little Shop of Horrors and thought that if Terezi was a dentist she could do the dentist song and have it work(beautifully), and I was wondering if anyone had or could find fanart with her riding a motorcycle and wearing a black leather jacket.

Because this is a Vriska thread, I need to throw her into this post. Her relationship with Tavros feels like something I've known where the only reason the person in power bullies the other is to get them to hate the bullying person.

Yeah, and Tavros fans?

They get a constant tease of "Hey, maybe now he can get away from Vriska! Maybe now he can develop on his own and become legitly happy separated from her. Nothing good comes from Vriska anyways"

And every time they hope for that, they are denied. Now Tavros is getting bossed around, thinks he's Vriska's girlfriend, and is in the same shitty situation he's always been with his abuser. He can't get anything done without her. They hope for him to grow seperate from her, but he just becomes an even larger accessory to Vriska's shenanigans.

We talk about Vriska fans getting trolled a lot but really Tavros fans get it the worst.

Being a huge fan of Tavros (in fact, he's probably my favorite character!) I never really felt like his entire character depended on Vriska, even though it's largely involved, and I never felt like Tavros fans got the worst of it compared to the more minor characters (they have a way tinier chance of coming back to the comic with some importance). He started out as just a comic relief or just someone funny in general, which is why I started to like him. THEN in Hivebent, Vriska shenanigans happened. Personally, I think his arc is just going a lot slower. I think if he didn't have SOME sort of importance, he wouldn't really be showing up after his death? That's just the feeling I get, anyway. We'll see! He could still be for laughs (that fight over the ring was hilarifying) or specifically for the Vriska, but he could also still be present for something else.
Tavros fans are very known for being so freaking hopeful. God knows I am, lol.


And now for my two cents for all that I've read and lurked-

Even though Vriska can be considered a more dynamic character and is less dependent on certain characters, there is no way you can deny that Tavros was and is a large part of her character arc. It's just less noticeable I suppose, since she has important relationships with other characters while Tavros' current and only important relationship right now involves Vriska. However, Vriska and Tavros have always had SOME sort of relationship and thinking that they would have nothing to do with each other after their deaths is a little silly in my opinion.

Actually, I always thought Vriska/Tavros was a thing that was going to happen sooner or later, so I can't really relate to anyone that absolutely lost it when Tavros said they were matesprits. Sure, Vriska's crush on John and vice versa was cute and all, but there was no HISTORY to it. There were no complications with Vriska/John, really, and if they were to actually become a thing, I would have at least liked to see some more legitimate development with the two? I do understand that they have communicated a lot and Vriska had a certain influence on John that impacted a lot, but that never really made me feel at home with the couple. One thing that I just really notice in this comic is that the canon potential/actual canon relationships tend to have a lot of conflict. Or maybe I just really like complicated relationships that make it through. One of those. I tend to like the relationships that carry strong symbolism (such as: blood colors mixing, which happened to Vriska and Tavros, as well as Karkat and Terezi and probably some others. Can't find the pages though u_u) throughout their arcs.

Vriska/Tavros being a legitimate thing right now isn't totally confirmed, but I'm definitely not throwing it out the window. They kinda have been spending a long time together, and they'd have to learn to deal with each other. Tavros is pretty honest and if he lies, I'm pretty sure he'd suck at it. If they aren't actual matesprits right now, I'd say they are either moirails with Tavros mistaking it as more flushed (Tavros flagging Vriska's behavior as terrible made me think of that) or Tavros just has feelings for her in general. Even if them being matesprits isn't the case right now, I feel like it will become one sooner or later.

Needless to say, I have LOVED these updates and I can't wait for the next ones! I haven't laughed so hard in a long time, and I really love all the info we're getting along with the funnies. It's almost 3:20 in the morning right now though and I am not tired at all u_u. Hope we get an update soon.

Also, aside from that he seems generally willing to help people. He's complicated and conflicted, but I'm sure there will come a time in the story where he'll be forced into a serious decision point, and then he'll develop into a stronger and bett-

Yeah, I thought he had potential for development, especially if his aradia interactions continued. Also kinda sucks that Im a sagitarius as well. Oh yes, look at all these other zodiac characters- these ones are awesome, this ones adorable but disposable. Yours? You get one designed from the outset to be disposable and a joke.

Tis is better to leave a character dead and out of the story, or keep them in and make things even worse?

I mean, if Tavrisprite never happened and Vriska was never in the story again, I probably would have preferred never to see that Dream D8 with DoomedJohn. That hurt more then her actually dying.

And lets not forget about Eridan fans. Thinking that he has some depth and a soul to him despite Hussie's claim otherwise, and the constant, never ending bisection jokes. Vriska's death has not been a constant joke of the fandom. Eridan's? Just cut an Eridan in two and BAM instant hilarity.
