Equius does rap, although the raps are only mentioned because he keeps them private.

He mostly keeps them private, but he did rap with Dave once. It devolved into lots of musclebeast glorification, of which Dave was not a fan.

How many people outside of the Homestuck fandom know about Homestuck or Andrew Hussie

I mean I can tell some facts about Doctor Who or Star Trek despite having never watched them but Homestuck is definitely not as known.

This was brought up earlier, and was a source of my tentativeness to suggest as such. If I'd gotten here when the poll was still open, I would've asked if we could add a different troll to it (one whose plotline we don't want to spoil), since I'm fairly sure a lot of people on Tumblr have seen the trolls at the very least. I have no IDEA how many people know about Hussie, hence my concern. But whatever, it still works.

Actually, I think the reason HS is less well known than shows and such like that is that it's too hard to summarize effectively- keeps it from spreading to those who don't read it.

Pretty much. I mean, Harry Potter can be sumarized as "A boy goes to a school for magic and fights an evil wizard." Also, everyone was reading it.
Very few people (in comparison) read Homestuck.

I know it isn't likely because it doesn't have a cultural impact, but I still like trying!

maybe everyone should vote up one comment that says "Andrew Hussie(Author of Homestuck) vs. Homer (Author of the Odyssey)" instead of everyone making their own... After all, the best rated comments only have about 7 thumbs up. BTW the moses vs santa one is up.

it might also help to do it on the less recent videos since the most recent ones get like 5 bazillion comments an hour. just to increase exposure so other people start suggesting mspa stuff too?
